Of course Persuasion is one of your favorite movies- it's one of mine as well! (the 1995 one is the best) I chuckled when I saw your antique picture frame by your bed, I have one just like it but with a different print. I read those same books to our two daughters out loud as well both of our girls are avid readers and one is an author I always loved reading to them we all have great memories of it. Fall is my favorite season. When our grandchildren came I loved reading to them and with them as they grew. I think if we had had boys they would have loved it too.

Your home is so cozy that I don't want to leave! I always love that your family gets together to do what needs to be done. It's so beautiful to see. The house is looking so lovely! Love the brick in the kitchen. And those sedums are gorgeous! I'm going to have to get some seeds and plant some for next year. Thank you for another beautiful video. It's so enjoyable to spend this time with you. Oh, and thank you for the book recommendations. I remember loving the parts of Little House in the Big Woods where they were storing up all the food for winter. I loved all of that even as a child. I love your videos Abby Jo. I have binge watched older videos again and again. You are a gorgeous woman and old soul truly skilled, soothing and wonderful. I love your family and how everyone helps. You make everything look so easy. Your dream kitchen is … a dream! and you always inspire me to get moving and work. Health took a huge toll on me so I watched everything stop for me for 4 years. This year I managed to can a few things and it was a huge improvement. I can’t get enough and can watch you all day. We have such similar tastes it would have just been incredible to know someone like you in my life. My mom was the closest and we did everything together. Oh! and your thrifting places have incredible finds! I could only wish to find such treasures here. Ppl put a high price and taxes on used goods now, making it a sad experience rather than exciting.

Hello, Abby Jo. From the first Forgotten Way Farms episode I watched, you and the hygge life style has reminded me of a book that was very dear to me as a new bride long, long ago. At that time, I borrowed it from the library (and probably had to pay a hefty overdue fine when I returned it). Have you read THE HOME HAS A HEART by Thyra Ferre Bjorn? Watching "Autumn Slow Living" again reminded me of Bjorn's lovely book, so I just ordered a "very good" used copy from Amazon. I'm fairly confident that you would enjoy it.
