I am so glad you rescued that beautiful tablecloth!! Someone really spent hours stitching , crocheting and sewing. As a needleworker myself, I am glad that someone's work is bringing you joy!! As for poems etc. I guess I am sentimental but Edwin Guest is one of my favorite poets. I also enjoy Emily Dickinson's stanza...Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all. Your chairs are just right!! Getting that fabric placed perfectly required a lot of diligence!!

We used to live in a gorgeous old Victorian farmhouse that we renovated over 30 years. Seeing the Victoria magazines brought back so many memories. I loved that magazine and that house. Little did I know it would suit my living style more now than when I was a younger working woman. With all of its racks for canned goods, harvest room and carriage barn. Oh how I still miss her 4 years later. The young couple who fell in love with her too have let her go and she looks so run down outside. 🥹 after all of our hard work. We have a ranch style home in a cottage style now so we can age in place.

I just dusted the top of my vintage fridge yesterday 😊 Today I went antiquing and bought an antique glass jar, a pitcher for the fridge, a vintage grater, and a granite ware funnel. Yay for practical antiques! Totally agree about the Scandinavian look of the new upholstery-just thinking the same thing when you said it!

Hi lovely, I am absolutely terrible at remembering poetry or who wrote it but it changes fir me anyway. I love that beautiful little shelf. And of course that beautiful, intricate tablecloth. Both have found the best home ever to shine in. I think I figured out that buy me a coffee , did it work? I have two linen pinnies now , a green with white spots and a gray . I admired your rose quilt on your bed and thought I would like a similar one ,I went to a church rummage sale the next day and lo and behold there was a rose strewn quilt set for $10 then was informed everything half off ,so $5 for a very new looking quilt ,2 shams and bed ruffle ,I was so pleased with myself ,It looks lovely on the bed ,it goes well with the lovely new set of cotton sheets I got a couple of weeks before at the thrift shop ,a dressed bed for $10,

I love moving items around my home. To me it shows you have developed you own personal style when things can work in any room of your home. Thank you, I use a paraffin oil that I just buy at a hardware store. It works well and is not stinky like kerosene.

An organic cleaner I picked up from TJ Maxx I always love to have a good cleaner to wipe the table and counters down with. I always pick ones with essential oils that smell good too :)
