I totally agree with what you said about "the Procreate look". I've thought that so many times especially over the last year but haven't heard or seen anyone else mention it. I hope this will be less of a thing going forward because it really makes art less appealing to look at when so much looks the same.

ha! I think I know what that is. I use Adobe Podcast AI to clean up my audio. If there's some small noise, sometimes it guesses what it was. So I think it thinks I'm rudely singing opera over Kyle!

Interesting conversation. Thank you 🙏 Adobe always had unethical law-crossing practices since I worked with them in let's say the last 30 years (yup!) At the same time they were awesome on innovations and had amazing people to work with. Love and hate are part of the same coin, I suppose. In Procreate I definitely started off with the comparison to physical drawing and painting, but the experience and expectations can be different for digital natives. Absolutely too much..is what Fresco is. Even when it's free now i'm still using Procreate. Like give me a simple drawing experience Fresco....Procreate does!!!!

I dont like adobe but at least I appreciate adobe for making the brush settings more easier. procreate has the most confusing brush settings ever.

I think once you learn them they make sense, but I guess that's obvious. One thing about the brush creator in Procreate that needs work is how custom brush shapes are added. There is a bit of strange prep work you need to do to make your starting brush shape and make sure it's within a perfect square, and a decent resolution.

@ In photoshop I can just tick flow if I want more tradition/opaque kind of brush or tick opacity if I want more transparency to my brush. You cant do that in Procreate there are multiple flow/opacity bar settings in there, multiple size/opacity in there. I even have a friend who is a long time user of procreate and jokingly ask him do you know how to make a round brush from scratch in procreate? The answer is he cant 🤣
