Demi-Leigh Tebow speaks with ET's Rachel Smith at the 59th ACM Awards, which streamed live on Prime Video. The former Miss Universe addresses the Miss USA organization's ongoing controversies, in the wake of Noelia Voight and UmaSofia Srivastava announcing their respective resignations as Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. She also reacts to Patrick Schwarzenegger's casting as her husband, Tim Tebow, in Ryan Murphy's 'American Sports Story.' The anthology series' first season focuses on Tebow's former teammate and convicted killer, Aaron Hernandez.

Did NOT realise the interviewer was Rachel Smith, Miss USA 2007 who had the iconic slip/fall at MU2007 and still advanced to the Top 5! Wow they both look amazing and I'm glad to see them thriving.

Disappointing Rachel never mentions being miss USA or even 4th runner up at miss universe. I mean she was in the same industry as Demi… it’s quite dumbfounded Rachel doesn’t care to give her opinion on Noelia considering these girls are THE FACES from the same organization. I would expect more from Rachel bc she was miss USA like Noelia as well. I get that it’s her job as the interviewer but come on now. She’s part of a legacy

Love this interview from Demi 🫶🏻 very respectful while also giving Noelia and UmaSofia her support. And the shoutout to Paula Shugart and Esther Swan 🥹💖 those two women were the backbone of the organization with how they supported the titleholders under their wing.

it's not the pageant system per se that's problematic, rather the organization who handles the current Miss USA franchise. Since Miss USA broke off from the Miss Universe Organization as a separate national franchise like other national MU franchise out there (Miss Universe Philippines, Miss Universe Bahrain, Miss Universe Thailand, etc.), the Miss USA franchise has been handled by a rather chaotic, messy organization unlike its international counterparts, particularly Miss Universe Philippines who's doing well on its own.

I’m mad Rachel never mentions it because her career started in pageants. She’s one of the most successful pageant queens ever. I wish she would mention she was a miss USA

Rachel Smith (The ET Reporter) was Miss Universe 2007 4th Runner Up (Riyo Mori of Japan won that time) while Demi Leigh Nel Peters, now Mrs. Tebow was Miss Universe 2017. 10 years apart yet they are like they've known each other for so long. Great interview by two empowered women.

Rachel Smith was top 10 at miss teen USA 2002, Miss USA 2007 and 4th runner up at miss universe 2007!!! She was in the same industry as the girls. I wish I could hear her take on it

That waa a great answer! She hinted women to stand up for their rights but also she said she doesn't know anything that's happening within the org. The only thing she knows is that she had fun working with Paula. Indirectly but she's saying the former team was the best.

As much as Tim loves working with children, I wonder why he and Demi haven't had children yet, either of their own or adopted. I'm not criticizing at all. It's a question that just popped in my head just now watching htis.
