Iraq was a disaster, no getting around that. But who’s to say Bush made that Iraq call himself? The British intelligence was adament in the existence of WMDs and security reforms under Clinton made our intelligence unreliable. Cheney was in his ear begging for war the whole time. Not to mention Lady Bird Johnson doing the same. Saddam was also his father’s greatest adversary. In conclusion, do I think Bush gets more blame than he is responsible for? Absolutely. Carik Shawn:I am of Irish and German descent, but I was born and raised in the United States. I am very much an American. Just because I do not share your views on President Obama, does not mean I am "clearly uninformed". I am well informed about Obama and Trump. I have been following Trump for more than 2 years. Most of what I believe about him has come right out of his own mouth, not the "Fake News media", as he calls it. I have a right to see things differently, from my own experience and point of view. This is still America and Trump has not taken that right away from me yet. It is fine if you believe Trump loves America, but I have seen too much evidence to the contrary. I have heard him say many times that he loves America, but actions speak louder than words. Trump loves Trump. He tries to take care of his supporters, but only because they steadfastly help him maintain his presidency. He has no use for anyone who did not vote for him and he blames liberal Democrats for everything under the sun. If he truly loved America, he would also care about the welfare of the half of the country who did not vote for him. All the previous presidents in the 84 years of my lifetime have always addressed the needs of the entire country, not just supporters who voted for them. If Trump loved America, he would not be consorting with so many Russians. There is so much denial, but there are dozens and dozens of Russian names swirling around the White House: Veselnitskaya, Lavrov, and Kislyak and so many more, especially concerning financial transactions. It has been well proven that Russia interfered in the 2016 election, although I am not convinced they actually helped Trump to get elected. We may know more soon. Trump also recently said he "was in love with Kim Jong Un". "We fell in love", he said. What's up with that? I don't want to really think that, but it sounds like a bromance. Who makes a statement like that, even in jest? Putin and Kim Jong Un have both been adversaries of the US for some time. Russia and the US have been at odds with each other during most of my life, especially during the Cold War. Suddenly both these countries are friends and many of our former allies, including Canada and Mexico, UK, France, etc. are our adversaries or not friends anymore. I am not a stupid person, but I do not understand this, especially if Trump loves America, as you say. Usually I have empathy and I can put myself in somebody else's shoes, but the Trump phenomenon has me baffled. You and I are looking at the same person, yet we come up with totally opposite impressions of him. I am trying very hard to understand, but i just cannot. In the many years of my lifetime, I have learned enough to trust myself that I am capable of making intelligent and knowledgeable decisions and observations. I am not a stupid person and I am well educated. Sometimes there are things in this life that we are not meant to understand and must accept on faith. I hope you will not verbally attack me because I cannot agree with you. That would be even more difficult for me to understand than Donald Trump.

President Obama was not corrupt. Yes, I can say corrupt Mr or Mrs. Dez. Anyone can file charges, but the charges must be proven. I never saw any "wingman" in court. Judges and juries decide. The guilty verdict is the only one that counts. There never was a guilty verdict against President Obama for corruption. Trump is a different story and pretty soon we shall see. So many of the minions around him have been convicted or pled guilty. It is tough to believe he is at the center and is yet Mr. Innocent. New Yorkers did not vote for Trump, and that is pretty telling.

If I were an American, I'd be more proud of Obama's few public appearances since January 2017 than of every single thing Trump did in office. So in a sense, I enjoy these speeches not just because of Obama's eloquence, but because, in a moral sense, he's still the president. There is something Trump can never beat Obama at - being a genuine human being. One that inspires, not one that spews divisive goop all over the place, while throwing a tantrum, and screaming delusionally about some plot against him. RIP John McCain - he once said something nasty about Romania, my country, but I will always respect him despite that because I do not focus on one off-beat remark thrown at an inopportune moment. I chose to focus on his ideas and the greatness that defined him as a whole. The US needs to recover from this current presidency soon, or face the extinction of its moral compass.

@AntsDrone Жыл бұрын
Both parties? No. Republican Party is the problem. Donald Trump is a traitor to America and they mostly stood by it. Democrats are the party that constantly is cleaning up republican messes. I know this comment was written 3 years ago but today in 2023 we don’t even have a speaker of the house under republican leadership. Trump attempted a coup at the end his administration.
