It doesn't matter what we pay teachers in this case. Cause her teaching salary would have never paid more than her OF and related activities. I have a feeling she became a teacher knowing this would expose her, and she'd make even more money cause its free advertisement. Depends on the area, but teachers here (Pacific Northwest) can make a decent amount and way more than their listed salary. Around here, a listed starting teacher's salary is $45,000 but they actually get paid more like $70,000+ a year with collateral duty pay, sports pay (e.g. assistant coach), certification and credentialing, teacher mentor pay, etc. They also get lots of paid time off, full healthcare, etc. Teachers working after a few years are making $90k+. Again, this amount still probably wouldn't change this teacher's mind.

It was someone else (who wasn't even a part of the school, but apparently wanted to make a stir of things for the heck of it) and then later the adult community of the school that outed her and made this non-issue an issue. Her students shouldn't be on OnlyFans anyway, seeing as it's for 18+ only. She's also not a prostitute or doing porn; OnlyFans does not involve sexual acts. The school district likely lost a good teacher because someone clearly went out of their way to make sure she would lose her job somehow (either by getting fired or resigning).

Even if she quit her job as a teacher before doing the OF thing, someone would have seen the OF page and spread the word sooner or later. Teaching is a calling with low pay, lots of time unpaid (Homework), and lots of stress paying off loans and bills. Teaching is not for everyone. I do not blame her a bit, you do what you have to do, I am happy it worked for her. Most other professions have caveats also. I started out in Instrumentation and Process Control, and the bottom dropped out. I went to the nuclear construction industry, and the bottom fell out. I started my own business doing many things in my off time, and that was sparse. I went to Industrial Electrical, and that worked out somewhat. I went to being a Handyman, and I had 2 heart attacks. People need to know what their chosen profession requires before they commit to it. Low pay is stressful, working for or with A-holes is stressful, working with children or the public is stressful, being out of work is stressful, being homeless is stressful. I have had good jobs working with good people and bad jobs working with A-holes. Might I suggest becoming a HVAC technician, the bottom will never drop out of that?
