I never want to get used to this song. It takes you on such a journey-there are so many different sections, moods, and speeds that it’s super trippy the first few times you listen. I wish I could go back and experience this song for the first time again and again!!

The camera work of the scene where Y runs reminded me of Infinite's Bad MV , specifically the scene where Sunggyu runs in a basement parking lot. Anyhow, this comeback is really flawless. The composer (BLSSD) made it sound minimalistic, but really dynamic at the same time. The way they added the vocoder, and similar rhythms like their previous songs really made it stood out.

one thing more i like about this mv is the use of upside downs. when they're in the dream (lucid dreaming) there's always something upside down, eg: tree, ocea, stairs, chandelier, and the whole planet itself.

I couldn't get all the info for this trilogy yet, but has something to do with 10 egos wanting to be the one in control. This MV is much more complete with sources than the previews one I believe. Woollim has a kind of working that looks strange at first, but then you notice how they are interesting. Just look what they did with Infinite. And this song... I don't think I praised those amazing vocals enough. The main vocal were incredible and Y dominate all this comeback.

I really agree with you! There's so many good groups out there but thankfully RTK made me know more of how much more they can offer to us. As a 4 minute song, it definitely didn't sound like 4 minute, it's really addictive and makes you want more of it! I think this comeback is exactly what it takes to go from a casual listener to "YES THIS IS THE GROUP". I like the fact that it ends abruptly after the "bridge". We see them losing control of the dream, and everything begins to scrumble down, and then it's the end, because that the ways dreams are finished. We don't choose the time when we wake up, and it's abrupt. I don't know, I just think it fits really well.

Thank you for another great review, PD. This song has quickly become my favorite release of the year. There's something about the amalgamation of that bass line, the string sounds and the hypnotic electronic bridge that just does it for me. I have no knowledge of electronic music, so what this music reminds me of is actually Infinite's style of music (the eye, the chaser) but with Golden child's unique twist and flavor. My only criticism is that I wish that I wish it was longer. Rather than an outro, I wish they would do a third chorus of some kind. But then again, if it's a strategic move for me to keep re playing this song IT'S WORKING. Regarding the video, in my opinion it is one of the best MVs I've ever seen. As an (amateur) artist, the surrealistic imagery is so gorgeous and inspiring. It's not only cool to look at, the symbolysms and the way it keeps making you (or at least me) think are amazing. Even on the least dreamlike scene, where they are dancing in a seamingly normal white room with the dark blue outfits, they show Sungyoon realizing it's a dream from noticing the hole in his hand (which I personally love lol). Ok, I'll just stop it because I not only feel pretentious but also dumb. I just love Golden Child and I love this comeback. Thank you again for a great video and input!
