Bowfishing for America's most invasive fish, the invasive clown knifefish in Florida. These fish including, plecostomus, tilapia, snakehead, and mayan cichlids all come from outside of the US and can be found in Florida's waters. It's important to remove these invasive species so that the native Florida wildlife can thrive.

Bonus is that Snakehead is better eating than Tilapia. WAYYY harder to filet, but you can get get good meat off a good one. Got a 14 lb. Norther Snakehead on a charter trip to MD. It lived in the cooler for 7 hours before I iced her. Hammer to the dome, but my uncles filet knife couldn't get through the scales, I had to whip out pliers to catch an edge on the meat. Anyone south of Delaware should have these as table fare, ty for the content Forrest.

Man, KZbin blows. You shouldn't have to censor a fish. People used to get at the government for censorship on TV and radio. The government isn't even involved here, and it's a million times worse. If someone ever builds a time machine, find that wiener that started the reporting video content to advertisers thing and get him a girlfriend or something. You definitely do those sorts of things if you're getting any. Or maybe just send him somewhere nice like Siberia with some fish in his pockets, preferably where tiger and brown bear ranges overlap.

he doesnt have to do it you can see lots of uncesored content of more extreme stuff then bowfishing fish lol but he wants to run ads on this and there are only a very small amount of companies and probably only in the USA like some big hunting company isnt really out here in Europe putting ads on youtube so youtube would just not run ads because of the lack of worldwide companies that would want to run ads on such a video, so you could probably more blame the companies paying to put ads on youtube then youtube itself or the content creator wanting to make money on his videos but that is his work aswell as the bussines aswell as youtube so yeah xd.

Hey Forrest, I've recently been discovering all about the tales of birds going 'extinct' in New Zealand, but there are still movements to find and protect them. I would love a video of you trying to find these lost birds. It's truly horrible that species can be forced to the brink of extinction because of us humans. Rhys Buckingham is one man I have watched trying extremely hard to hear or see a South Island Kokako, and I'm sure many others are trying to rediscover lost birds in New Zealand that could help you and your team. I love that you're trying to rediscover these lost animals, as it brings back hope that these species may still exist. Great video as well, you know your stuff. Cheers from Aus!

I'm pleased you're guys tske out invasive species that are affecting our native wildlife. However, you guys really should dispatch the fish once caught. The fish is dead, once you catch it; there isn't a need to keep them around and allow them to suffer for three hours. Keep up the work our cleaning up our waterways from invasive species. This is just my thoughts guys. Cheers

Clown Knifefish, my god!!! This is a rare fish in my country; it's already difficult to get this fish, especially in large sizes like in the video. This fish is delicious. If only America would hire fishers from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China, they could catch all the fish that you consider 'invasive' there. I know these fish have become invasive because many anglers just catch and release them for the sake of 'conservation,' but this is one of the consequences of that practice. You should just catch and eat them, whether for your own consumption or as livestock feed. Bro, if only I still lived in FL like in 2013. I would go fishing every day and enjoy these fish every day, especially snakehead and carp.

Word of advice, never throw a live brooding fish back into the water, well you never, ever return any invasive species back but especially not live brooders, not even the head even if you’ve killed the fish or filleted it. If they have young they live inside the mouth of the parent so returning the head or fish back will put their offspring back into the water. Dispose of them in the trash or bury it in your garden as fertilizer.
