Both the Star Wars and the Travis Scott event were more just events for the heck of it, and were just crossovers meanwhile The Device, Galactus and Zero Crisis Finale events were story events so that's why they were more full and also had a narrative. The Travis Scott event was also a lot longer because unlike every event in the past where there was one set time to watch the event, and if you weren't there you missed it, there were actually 5 identical Travis Scott events over 3 days to make sure a lot more people could watch it (and if I remember correctly it still is the event with the most unique viewers) There still are 2 more events left in Chapter Two (Operation: SkyFire and The End) for you two to watch, and there is a new event in Chapter Three (Collision) that happened not too long ago. Edit: And the Ariana Grande Concert in late Chapter Two

In Chapter 2 they actually hired dedicated writers and made a solid game plan for the overarching story, and yes you definitely want to check the original for most of the stuff... the X Star Wars was unfortunately not actually X Star Wars, it was X The Force Awakens, which has aged about as well as the X Travis Barker x Marshmellow event. The Hunters event and season were much better made and received, and of course will continue into season 3 where we might see the conclusion of the Most Powerful Eyebrows in the Universe Saga.

Funny little fact for the Star Wars Event, it actually included "The Return Speech" of The Emperor which iirc at the time was the first official reveal of that plot point for The Rise of Skywalker (The Movie, Episode 9). In the movie itself this Return Speech is only briefly mentioned in the Opening Text Crawl and when the movie actually starts we just see the characters' reactions to it, infamously coined as the "Somehow Palpatine Returned" quote because the large majority of people didn't know an Essential Plot Point to a movie was locked in a one time Fortnite Event... 😂 That will never not make me chuckle

I'm big sad you didn't get to see the Travis part with the original music. The whole thing was made with that music in mind, so obviously, the entire thing is so so bad when compared to actually seeing it with the music it was made for. idk if you'd want but if you want more fortnite content to watch after you've seen the events and story stuff you want to watch there are fortnite music videos i helped with from the KZbinr InTheLittleWood. He used to do Fortnite Recap Raps but he unfortunately has since stopped making them. However in my opinion (also a bit biased since I helped with them and am in them) they're a fun watch and a good show of what happened throughout seasons
