This episode is like finding a treasure chest of "performance gems". Surely most racing data will not be applicable on the streets but the worth of knowing the technical details and processes is more satisfying than one can appreciate. For example, the ride height going up on qualifying to compliment the rear grip so the rear will not push the front, that is golden information. I don't have a superbike but then again I can relate to that knowledge when I tinker with my bike and see how much of that racing process can really trickle down to street riding. Not a lot I know but that's what trickle means I guess.

I bloody love all the detail ! Investment casting, a wax or polymer pattern coated by placing into a refractory material, hardened and dipped several times, the wax melted and molten metal poured in, producing high accuracy and integrity, interestingly basic versions of it go back thousands of years

Mr Denning shows why Crescent is a great team, and his honesty is much appreciated. Chris did a good job and combined with the camera work this is a 44T classic. Honda have done a BSB press event with Stock, Superstock, and Superbikes to ride. Yamaha Racing - for the Ride...

So the weight difference accounts for the performance difference between the two riders. Toprak 69, bautista 53, with shorter height. 16 kg is huge difference in terms of cornering, acceleration, stresses on chasis, and braking. Toprak is really giving his 100 percent but still it is hard for him to win a race this year. what i have concluded from this informative interview. Props to toprak.

İts explained very well by paul in a technical way and how its incridible that big machine Toprak throws in to the curve's like a piece of a Toy , and brakes the Top speeds ..its Talented Paul also explains Toprak uses most parts then other Rider and Ruins more parts then other Riders 😅 also the extra rare hand Brake that Toprak wants and Paul says the seat pad is low less for Toprak bec he wants to feel more rare Tyre 😂 He is an animal .

Mick Doohan started using a rear brake left handlebar solution after an accident. This is from Wiki.... He competed successfully throughout the early 1990s and appeared to be on his way to winning his first world championship when he was seriously injured in a practice crash before the 1992 Dutch TT. He suffered permanent and serious damage to his right leg due to medical complications and, at one stage, faced amputation of the leg. At the time, Doohan was 65 points in the lead of the championship but could not compete for eight weeks after the crash. After an arduous recovery, he returned to racing for the final two races but could not prevent Yamaha rider Wayne Rainey from winning his third consecutive title (by four points from Doohan). In 1993 he struggled with the healing of his leg and the ability to race the Honda at elite level, stating later that in that year it was all he could do to just keep his ride at Honda. It was also during this time he switched to a left thumb-operated rear brake, as his right foot is no longer able to perform this function. I have always wanted this on my R1. Great comment. Elif Elif. I love the way that Johnny and Toprak battle like gladiators.

I really like the insight of that mix of technical / stat driven application of the mechanics and the contrast of; I've got no clue why the rider does X, but they know something we don't, so we design for that. Agree with most of the commenters here, really engaging video on a format I'd generally zone out of - I think on TV they tend to dilute for the base common denominator viewer, which strips all the interesting stuff out.
