@@MichaelWilliams-jc2ui Remove the shift lever?
@MichaelWilliams-jc2ui2 жыл бұрын
@@ryanmalone2681 Ryan, there’s 2 ways of adjusting the gear lever position. First the top lever of the linkage rod is on the gearbox shaft. With an 8mm spinner undo and remove the clamp bolt, ease the lever off the shaft and move it around one notch to move the gear lever higher, this is the slightly crude method as is not finely adjustable as it goes one whole notch at a time. The best way on the tiger is at each end of the black connector rod there is a 10mm lock nut. Useing a 10mm spanner loosen them both by turning the spanner to the left, then run them up the thread a bit. Rotate the black rod (by hand) and the gear lever will move up or down as one thread is left handed and the other is right. When you have the lever in it’s preferred position tighten the 10mm locking nuts and bingo, the jobs done!

Got shot of it after a few years as I got sick of hauling the thing around when getting it off and on the stand or wheeling it about...ridiculously heavy. The new one looks to be way better but a GS beater? 😐 nah. Had a GSA. It was miles better than the trumpet in most respects. Can't see that anything will out GS a GS except maybe for another GS. The new trumpet might be the better road bike with the lighter weight and stronger engine but off road the GS has the gruntier low down delivery and lower CoG.
