Fossil hunting saltwick bay 2021

Today i finally got back out fossil hunting. Its been so long overdue with the whole global lockdown but now we are finally allowed back out i plan on going out as much as i can. As usual I'm on the hunt for ammonites and saltwick does not disappoint !

@@TheYorkshireFossilHunter i went to Saltwick be a week ago. Compared to you I got a few scraps. I did find what I think is fish scales though. I had not really realised how you can get cut off so easily there. I have never been to a relatively secluded bay before. I had to scambkr and wade in water up to my knees, then scrabble over the rocks. I hadn't realised how important it is to come back as the tide turns... I made it though. Would love to come out with you sometime. That would be fab.

@@aaronclark8877 yes you have to be very careful at saltwick, its so flat the tide comes in so fast. you was very lucky mate. we will arrange something in the summer time buddy

Unfortunately not mate. We have been crazy busy at work so I've hardly had a day off!!
