My iP8750 produces stunning black and white prints. I eventually found the “right” paper; used the Fujifilm Acros film simulation (plus my own recipe); did a little post work and voila! All printers have some forms of limitation. Camera sensor; lens quality; post software; quality paper and dedicated inks all influence the final product. There is also the aspect of subjectivity when judging the final print. People tend not to scrutinise a photo in terms of the media used to produce it: rather the subject being observed.

Thanks for making up my decision on which printer to purchase. I purchased the iP8750 directly from Fotospeed as I had several questions that I was unsure off. I spoke to Vince directly at the sales department and he answered all my questions directly, much quicker than ping-pong emails. One question I had was I didn't realise that profiles are individual to each printer of the same model. Thanks again to you both.

I took a photo of the Hull Humber bridge last year on my Pixel 6 Pro phone, I purchased my Canon ip8750 approximately 8 months ago & this photo of the bridge was my first attempt of a B&W print with the ip8750 on Permajet Oyster paper, to me it looks excellent, there’s No colour casts whatsoever, so I can confidently say that the ip8750 is a perfectly good A3+ printer for B&W & colour printing.

Thanks for another great vid. I have both these printers and love them both. Inks on the the IP8760 (Aust) are cheaper and if you look around you can refill relatively cheaply.

It's not clear. Didn't use the Fotospeed profile for Baryta 300 on the first print with the 8750? Did you go from printer management to printer custom profile, without ever using the generic Fotospeed profile for the paper and printer (you have that on the site)?

Please help, on the ip8750 you say in greyscale mode it doesn’t use a profile. So how do you use the super profile in greyscale if it doesn’t use one, sorry for being a bit thick.
