Mike likes soft movies, his life's aim is to help people, he gives legitimate training advice, he's a good son, has a sweet wardrobe collection and can smash a large pizza in no time. Damn that's one book you should not judge by the cover.

I’ve watched every podcast religiously since the 2020 pandemic when I was recommended Fouad’s videos with muscle and strength. Sometimes it takes me a few days to finish off a pod just because of being busy, but it’s always nice to listen in and follow through with the inside jokes and new guests. Thank you for being the friendly podcast voice that I’ve listened to these past years with the wonderful guests that have come and gone.

Great decision Iain, Matt Jansen has proved himself time and time again. His ability to peak his clients is rivaled by only Hany Rambod and perhaps Milos. I’m sure you had a great friendship with Patrick, and I wish him all the best. However, you can only miss the mark so many times.. his performance with you at the 2022 Olympia and James at the 2021 left a lot on the table - to say the least. Anyway, wish you well & I hope this moves marks a major upward turning point in your career.

A tip to all of you, when showing a picture or video on your phone to the camera it being out of ''focus'' is not the issue. The problem is the brightness of the screen, turn down the brightness of your phone screen before pointing it at the camera and the picture will show 1000x better.

Just a tip for the youtube algorythms. Having an ad that is physically part of the video in the beginning of it is not exactly optimal, most people will skip it and it can throw off the algorythms. It's better to have it in the middle or after a couple of minutes.

With due respect to Patrick, the thing that had happened with Iain at the Olympia 2022 was precisely what had happened with James in 2021. I feel James and Iain are such bodybuilders that might not pop that much but are dense and grainy ,they get in shape real fast , but can lose tissue in the final moments if you push too much. Too many changes can alter their physiques dramatically. Patrick does tend to be a little rigid in his approach which is alright but not the best thing here. Honestly, it breaks your heart when people who work as hard as they do or from whom you've learnt so much , don't get their due on stage because they just missed by a whisker. So I believe Iain made the right call at the right time.

I worked at McDonald's 3 years back in high school. The big mac / McDouble patty (they call it reg meat), is 10:1, a tenth of a pound. The quarter pounder meat, is 4:1, a quarter. So double quarters are a bit more meat

Ian has a great structure and muscle. Posing may not be the best, but definitely can be a heavy hitter on the stage. I also respect the fact that he not only admitted to being complacent, but also recognizes the improvements he needs to make. I hope that he places better this year along with Brandon Curry, William Bonac, Ramy, and Akim Williams. This was a great back and forth podcast. Learned a lot about deadlifting.

Mike has some good opinions & input , but his latest post about people “trying to be part of a community they don’t belong to” rubbed me the wrong way. I might be wrong, but one of the reasons bodybuilding is so great is because everyone is welcomed as long as you’re not hurting/putting others down. Idk , I feel like everyone should feel welcomed in the gym regardless of what they wear.

14:39 something that may work for appetite. You maybe already doing this but try and take ALA supplement 300mg-400mg, with or with out, 20 almonds and 4 brazilin nuts 30 minutes before each meal. I stalled out on my appetite and started incorporating this and now I am waking up ready to eat. I found it in a book somewhere in the 4HourBody Tim Ferriss.
