Met him in Philadelphia Fit Expo. I can never forget when he told me I can do anything
@michaelmarcano92004 жыл бұрын
I can say Jay is the absolute best person I've met in this industry. I've been friends with a few pros and have worked alongside many, but Jay has been the same since DAY 1 and has the most amazing memory I've ever seen. I used to walk up to him just as a fan and EVERY year after I met him I'd be greeted with a "Hey Mike!" or a "What's up Mikey!" I've seen this man give out $40 DVDs (yes that's what all the pro DVD's cost back then for the Battle for the Olympia and others) to little kids just so they had a great experience and had an awesome memory from that day. I've seen Jay throw out big discounts and then look over to his helpers to make sure they didn't hear him because they probably would have told him to stop because he probably is too nice to many of his fans. I remember after getting into the industry he asked if the company I was with was taking care of me....after I said no he introduced me to his associates with his company and gave me the best referral you could get in this industry. Heck, I text him on his birthday and Christmas and I always wonder if he'll even notice and I always get a response even knowing he probably gets a TON OF TEXTS all day, every day! I wish there was a way he could know how much I appreciate him as a fan but he has always been who I look up to the most in an industry where there are MANY you shouldn't look up to. Love the content and thank you Fouad! I can't wait to try your products and I'll be emailing you to see if we can get you into the store I work at!

Fouad's got to be feeling pretty good after hearing that Jay is watching his content. Also, it was cool to hear Jay's raw and honest thoughts/feelings on the 2007 Olympia.

So pleasing to my ears when Jay said he was introvert and just focussed on bodybuilding and kept working!! Now I know being introvert isn't the bad thing as long as you are determined and focussed on your goals! Thank you sir for this podcast , always great to learn from you and other like minded people! ❤️

There are plenty of books and podcasts on being an introvert. Quiet by Susan Cain is a good book, I lost my copy and plan to buy another; she has a ted talk as well. Brian Little has a ted talk "Confessions of a passionate introvert" that I really enjoyed as well.

Fouad and Jay, thank you both. Jay was always my favorite and I had all the Jay Cutler DVDs back in the 2000's. I've been watching all of Jay's DVD's over the past few days for entertainment during the quarantine, and it really is a complete 180 difference in terms of Jay's personality now and how it was during his competitive career. This guy was the essence of greatness and robotic nature. People praise Dorian for his extreme dedication to being the greatest, and while that's true, I think Jay's dedication would rival Dorian's. One of the best role models the sport's ever had, preaching the rewards of hard work and sticking to the goal at hand despite falling short at times.

The Best Jay Interview ever...I have followed Jay from the beginning, heard him numerous times, but I’ve never heard the ‘Whole Story”, as you got Jay to say...your questions were to the tee, all because you didn’t let Jay to skip over what he thought really didn’t matter but it told the whole story...plus you treated Jay with the respect and let him talk, but you dug out the parts of the story from Jay’s side that I’ve never heard....the 06 story was amazing.....Fouad Perfection.
