Yes, they're all hurt that they're there, a death of a loved one is horrible whether it be a child young or adult or parent, spouse, it's hard on everyone involved, I do hope they've reconciled since this, he wouldn't like seeing 2 of his 2 favourite people butting heads

Exactly. This is absolutely atrocious. Even if the mother was in distress when she signed it, she KNOWS that she still took the money. How can she say that she doesn’t owe it?! When my father died, one of my older coworkers was kind enough to loan me the money to pay for his cremation. And as soon as his insurance policy was paid out, I wrote that check like Speedy Gonzalez. Why?! Because I know that I owed that money.

@@bash547- Yes! I agree wholeheartedly that the defendant must pay, but that crying with no tears was crazy. Then her voice changed back to normal when the judge started to ask questions. People who do that are generally trying to gloss over something or are hoping the judge will give them sympathy in that moment instead of expecting them to address something. In her case? Not sure, but I saw that too.

Then turned around and said she was adamant that she was going to wait till tuesday LOLShe can't lie right. ALSO........ Usually insurances take time to payout so most funeral homes you just do an assignment form and have the insurance give the proceeds directly to the funeral home IF you are the beneficiary of the policy. Here she wasn't using the policy to do that. They paid and she was to give them the money once the claim was paid. Of course when she got thoe dollar signs in her eyes free and clear she pulled a fast one LMAO....... She is a tool.

That mother scruched up her face over and over and she tried so hard she damn near broke a blood vessel trying to pop out a tear and she just couldn't do it. LMAOOOOOOOO She is grieving but her grief is taking the form of misguided anger. She needs someone to be mad at and blame. Also she is lying through her teeth in the exit saying she reached out several times to pay them. No she didn't. Who do you know that asks for their money multiple times and then block and won't talk to the person that owes them? Also she knows where the parents live she could have delivered or sent them their money. That Mother is petty and burning up with anger because she wasn't able to go ramshackle his house and loot it for everything she wanted, because it wasn't just his house. She wanted the ability to go take whatever she wanted. She also thinks that the fiance had a policy on him and got money and didn't give her any...... Mama is mad about money. Also the plaintiff said she had a good relationship with his oldest son and his wife and they call to check on each other. The mother is so busy trying to be vindictive that she couldnt even listen b/c the first thing she said was that the plaintiff was lying and that she never calls her oldrest son. The plaintiff did not say she checks on and talks to his brother. She said his Oldest SON!!!!!! Mama is so busy trying to say she is wrong and didnt even get what she said straight. Also why should the plaintiff say she regrets calling her evil? She is evil, petty, and dishonest.Talking about when they can come over and divide his stuff among his children. Lady please, you wanted to go grab up everything you could get your hands on. She was mad as hell that the fiance brought them his clothes. It's crazy that people that borrow money for funerals always seem to change their minds about paying it back. It's almost like there's really nothing tangible to show for the money, so they have a hard time paying back the money, when it's due. Also, he died of kidney failure. The mother has no business blaming the girlfriend for ANYTHING. The Plaintiff was the one that took care of him while he was ill. The mother should be ashamed, her son would be furious. The mother got insurance money to cover the funeral. There's no excuse for not paying, other than being greedy AND PETTY. The mother is still arguing that the girlfriend doesn't speak to the (other)brother, she's still maligning her. I don't blame the girlfriend for calling her evil and being upset after all the mother did to her. So sad.

The day my father passed away.. it was the same, he would have episodes, 911 would be called, he would go to the ER & sent back home. He had another episode that day, I waited to call but he got worse & ultimately passed in my arms before the ambulance got there. They took longer to get there because of all the recent calls. My heart goes out to the defendant & everyone else that loved him ❤

That mother was just mad that she couldn't just go to his house and grab up everything she wanted because it was also the fiance's home. That's all that was. She ain't worried about no kids. As far as calling 911, with him being on dialysis, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have made a difference. It sounds like he had some secondary issues going on namely High BP and or heart disease. Being a dislysis patient myself, I have been lucky not to have any diabetes, high bp or heart disease, but even in my case dialysis does take a toll and it can damage vessels from calcification, etc. The mom is groeving but its taking the form of misguided anger. She needs someone to blame and someone to be mad at to keep her mind off of her son. She could probably benefit from some grief counseling.

@oldageisdumb naw, at 10:22 she said she was performing cpr, right after the mom told her to call 911. IDK why black folks call everybody but ems when someone goes down. My mother had a heart attack, her boyfriend called everybody under the sun before ems. my aunts and sister beat ems there and acted a fool cause ems took too long. maybe if that fool had called them first, my mother would have had a fighting chance. smdh

True but she also said he was on dialysis. When people are already sick they don’t act like a “healthier” person. My baby is on dialysis and what may be abnormal to others is normal for her. Plus dialysis patients sometimes have seizures so it may not have been known right away that it was a heart attack
