He reminds me of my precious baby Petal. She looked just like him. She was so sweet and always snuggling up to me when she was out. She used to press her face into mine, and loved climbing on my shoulder and tucking a little of my hair around her like a little nest lol 💚💚 I lost her to old age a few years ago. I miss her 💚

Awwww he's precious! I lost my sweet baby this past summer and I miss him everyday. He was a House Sparrow that I rescued when he was less than two weeks old. I cared for him around the clock. He was my baby. In the wild, they live about 3-4 years but I was fortunate enough to spend 11 years and 10 months as his mom. He could even say his name "Baby". People were always amazed that he could talk. Birds are beautiful, wonderful, amazing and incredibly intelligent creatures...each with their own personality. I just wanted to share that with you, Steff and everyone here. I hope you all have a wonderful day. ❤️❤️❤️

I think he doesn't like the porch because his feet are too flat. My parakeets preferred 1/2"-1" sized perches because anything else cramps their feet. Check out budgie keeping to double check a good size for perches

Awe I had a yellow parakeet just like him. Her name was Lilian... Also as soon as I saw the nest log thing the word 'quiote' came into my head. That's what my grandma used to call those I think.
