I love the original BM. I remember Leslie talking about it on qvc and she said the buffing actually creates heat that melts the BM into a cream. That's what makes it "work". It's a beautiful look and the benefits are awesome! Love ya. xoxo Patti

Hi Melissa...I remember you showing how to buff away the flakes a few years ago in one of your videos. I will have to try this...since I have switched to Curology, I have had some flaking, but I have added other new products, so I am not sure what is actually causing it. I have to say you have never looked more fabulous but I may be partial because I am a long-time original bareMinerals user and I just love it and I can’t imagine using anything else because it’s so light and doesn’t feel like anything is on your skin and you can make it full coverage or light coverage if you want.I miss the original collections on QVC. I self tan during the summer so I use a darker foundation to match my skin and I use their original Faux tan face to bronze and for a little extra I top it with a touch of sun original .😊❤️

Hi Melissa🥰 really enjoyed this video! Totally understand the peeling stuff that goes on with retin A use! Like you, I can only use gluten free everything. I do use a gommage from Sisley and also switch off with a light scrub from Chanel when I do my weekly facial which includes micro dermabrasion. It sounds scary but believe me, buying the proper tool and using it correctly has made an amazing difference. My skin literally glows! I got my glow back with this routine. Everyone is different though. Find doing this at home doesn’t cause me to break out. Unless it’s done at dermatologist office. Once you see that doing it at home using the proper tools and skin care, saves money. Love how the bronzer looks on you... just Beautiful! I use one too in the summer and Love the healthy glow it gives! Thank you for your continued Encouragement on continuing being the best Women we can be! God bless you💕

That looked great on you! I used to wear Bare Minerals, back before it was popular and even before the infomercials for it were out. i loved it then, but I was in my 30s. I remember in my 40s for a few years I kept thinking my skin looked old. It did great for me in my 30s, but it looked really bad on my skin in my 40s! My skin is quite a bit dryer than yours, though, I think.

Thank you so much Patti. This was kind of an accident actually. I’ve been using up some of the Monat shampoo, and some of the scalp treatment of theirs. I used a 2 inch curling iron and then put in Velcro rollers in till they cooled. After I took it down I fluffed it with my fingers and then put some of the Kenra 25 hairspray in. That hairspray really does hold against humidity for me. Thank you so much, Melissa

Hi, Melissa! You're smart not to try the peeling gels. I tried the one by Peter Thomas Roth because I heard it was very gentle. However, when I used it for the first time, it left my skin raw and irritated, even though I was very gentle, especially since it was the first time trying it. I think the skin underneath the flakes is more delicate, and, therefore, is more easily irritated. Slow and gentle is definitely the way to go!
