Laying the Foundation 1 - Founded on The Rock

'You cannot build a more successful Christian life than your foundation will permit.'
Jesus, as well as Paul talked about 'building on the foundation'.
What did they mean by being founded on the rock? What or who is this foundation?
And how are we to build on it?

I’ve been married for 27yrs my husband that has been on drugs for 13 of those years and backsliding i don’t know if this has caused a curse on our family but he have been suffering with him an his drug use he’s under gone a triple bypass 2018 2019 a defibrillator inpatient it hasn’t stopped the drug use he started driving now my family stand in need of much prayers in JESUS name 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I have no experience regarding deliverance but I hear you must rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus Christ and your husband must confess his sins and decide to quit. He has to be willing to stop. Pray with him whilst he renounces the spirit of addiction and any other curse or spirit. God be with you mam

Has he surrender his Life to JESUS CHRIST. Usually an addiction is an evil spirit behind it. Certain things , you MUST SEEK GODS WILL IN A SEASON OF PRAYER AND FASTING ... CRY BEFORE THE LORD FOR HIS FREEDOM FOR THE spirit of alcoholism.

For three days now, the Rock has been on my mind. The Rock which gave water to Israel in the desert. Jesus said He gives eternal water, water of Life, He also said build your house on the Rock.... And then thsi viseo comes up and its confermation, God have a message. And its time we look at this Rock, and we start building our foundation on Jesus Christ so we cannot be shaken when the storm is here. Upon what, will He build His Church? Some say Peter's testimony, others, Peter himself. But I'd like to look at this from another angle... I think Jesus is saying that it's NOT upon what has been revealed by flesh & blood.... Rather, by what is REVEALED BY JESUS' FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN....That His Church is build upon revelation from God. Just like Jesus did. By those who do what they see Daddy doing, and say what the hear Daddy saying. Amen

If you listen at 8:10 he explains the foundation explained in Corinthians and tells us to notice how another builds on it. Did you know there are megalithic immovable foundations scattered throughout the world and the Romans destroyed parts and built on most of them. These structures foundations have no art but the other stuff is imbedded with it. Spiritually it is so even though we are far apart we can still be on the foundation of the Lord. The most amazing one I have seen is the "foundation stone" it is still ATTACHED to the bedrock.. That is insane.. It looks like it is falling over.. But was saved right before hitting the ground as if superman stood beneath it holding it up. This represents how safe we spiritually are if we are on the foundation of God.. We all vibrate together but our foundation does NOT move and can't be moved. No frequency or earthquake or any type of vibration. Rest assured in the care and true love of our lord through Jesus Christ. God bless all of us!

@@nicolep7241 many people do.. And God is rushing no one. Brien may not understand the spiritual aspects of his work, I pray he will eventually. We must humble ourselves and know, others may not find God til late in their life, but once they have they are forgiven. Any single one of us may find God at any moment.. I know 12 years ago I was blind. People who may have murdered someone or done other dispicable acts.. But the Love of the father can cleanse all sins and forgive all sins. How do we know when someone may find the Lord.. It is our job to pray guidance for these people.. Not just say they are blind and evil. Pray for God to show them peace and love of the father. We are not the judges, judgement is reserved for God alone. Let us pray for all of the ones who we feel arent on the narrow path.. So we empower the spirit that may guide them. Much love! God bless.

Cornerstone and Spiritual Rock have two different meanings. In ancient times, Cornerstone is the first rock used as a foundation in a house building, it is used to determine the degree and position of the rest of the stones. Jesus as cornerstone is NOT about the person, because you can't use the person to measure the truth of all Christians teachings, indeed many false teachers will hijack His name, false spirits will impostor Him. Jesus words delivered by Himself is the true cornerstone, you can use it to verify all kinds of teaching. If the person make claim that Jesus is his/her cornerstone, means they truly measure their belief with Jesus Words. Do you ? Cornerstone is also mean the first stone, means Jesus is the first spiritual stone. Spiritual Rock meaning can be found in the story when Jesus renamed Simon to Peter. DP missed the biggest part, he never explained what Spiritual rock means. In Jesus group the only one whom Father directs is Jesus. Until the time when Father reveals to Simon that Jesus is Son of God, It is not what he said matters in this context, but how he is able to say it matters. Simon became the second person in this group got the same priviledge like Jesus. immediately Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter. Simon which means "Those who hear Word of God", to Peter "Spiritual rock". Means the transformation from hearing the Word of God into the person directed by Father to do His will. Remember The harvest is plentiful, but the worker was scarce, Jesus suggested to pray to The Lord of Harvest to send the worker, Father pick and choose Jesus disciples to work on the harvest. If your spiritual growth is in the correct path, the good seed (Jesus teaching) should grow into a good tree and branches (knowledge), and it bears good fruits (actions), to do the will of God. Jesus is building His Church upon people who are directed by His Father.

Jesus says" and what gives you that impression?" Derek replies, it's logical, if I were on earth, and in my fallen condition, and you were just a "average man", I'd be annoyed at your muching on that apple. Jesus laughed, and said well you are the first of my brother's to arrive in my father's kingdom and know that you are in the 3rd Heaven, and in the spirit, and new heavenly body, based on the logic that I, munching on this apple did not produce annoyance in you🤭... Derek smiled😁, then said, well thank you Jesus, would you lord take me to a place where the souls here are all muching on apple's, Jesus said of coarse, Derek asked Jesus, do you wonder why I made such a odd request? Jesus laughed, and said, brother I already know, you want to be in awe of the sounds that once irked you, now is music to your ears! And Derek said you truly know all my thoughts and ways.
