Foxes are canines; hyenas are felines. There really is no natural bridge between dogs and cats. BUT they are both mammalian carnivores we have chosen to take into our houses and keep as pets...In Siberia it took only six generations to create TAME foxes...so this guy has a real chance at being a good pet. Hope it works out for them all.

Rough Collies are wonderful dogs. I had a Rough Collie that looked like this one, except for a blaze on his head. He was the sweetest dog, and very, very intelligent. They are always willing to add more to their flock, and little DiNozzo looks like he fit in very well! So happy for the entire family. I have to say, the humans in this story are to be applauded, thank God for people who love all of God's creatures and will do anything to help one that has lost his mom.

I don't understand why people often don't approve of ordinary people taking in orphan baby animals and caring for them My uncle did and he released the animal and it never came back but they did see it sometimes. So to those who say "oh know you will make it where the fox(or other animal) is human friendly" it's a non domestic animal. If released soon enough it won't come back unless you were to leave food out.
