Foxbody Fuel System To Achieve 10-15psi Of BOOST! We Need More FUEL Pressure!

We have been running faster and faster times in Stormtrooper, but we found that after 8-9psi of boost, our fuel pressure is not able to keep up with our demands. So, we have decided to upgrade our fuel delivery system in order to keep up with the tune. We are shooting to run 10-15psi of boost next season, so we are trying to think of everything necessary to achieve that goal. Wire in a 40p relay close to the tank and with a 10 gauge wire from the battery to it use you original pump wire as a trigger for the new relay . It will make sure the pump is getting proper voltage which could have been some of the reason you had pressure drop off

Neo Mustangs has a video on wiring the fuel pump this way. I think it's called " Feed Your Beast". Or something along those lines.

I would definitely consider adding aftermarket fuel rails to this combo. Stock rails are only good to 500hp Naturally Asperated. Being boosted may change that.

I ran across your channel today. I'm running Deka 60lbers and a walbro 255lph on 93 octane at 43lbs of pressure with my current setup. Last I checked I was running 60% duty cycle on 5ish pounds of boost but I need to recheck. It's a bigger cubic inch engine though. Anyhow, I know you already got your pump and hanger but look into the Holley 12-347 pump and hanger combo. It's the hellcat 525lph pump. I'm leaning toward it for myself when I get ready to do what you're about to do. I haven't watched all your videos, how are you logging fuel pressure? Fuel pressure sensor wired into the terminator x? I need to do something to log mine, my ecu is megasquirt based.

Awesome! Yea, anything under 8psi I have great fuel pressure, but as soon as it goes above 8lbs, you see it start to drop in the log. I am running a fuel pressure sensor that is wired into my terminator X. It’s very cool to be able to log it with all my other data. I’ll look into that pump if I even decide to run methanol. 👍

I haven’t got around to installing it quite yet. Still have been trying to get it over to my brother’s shop to put it down. I’ll be keeping you guys updated once it goes in though!

Care to tell me a little about your engine build? Are you running head studs and good gaskets? Stock block? If so with 15 pounds you know its gonna go all Yoga master and do the splits for ya right!? LOL I'm also hoping you're already running a 3550 or TKO600 transmission or you'll soon be replacing that T5 as well. From an old guy with a little knowledge, I strongly recommend keeping it under 12psi. You seem like a good dude and i hate to see you grenade that thing right outta the gate!!

Stock long block, stock T-5 stock rear end. It’s a ticking time bomb, but we are here to try things out and are not afraid of seeing what happens. I’ll keep you in mind as I’m playing against time 🤣
