Canada owns more farmland in the U.S. than China. Strange that the GOP isn't too upset about that. I think It's a narrative for the vote. Canada is an ally while China is an advisary. Canada plants crops to feed it's own people. I am unsure if any of the food is sold on the U.S. market. China leaves the farmland unplanted. I am concerned with our dwindling ability to remain self reliant as a country. We need to retain farmers and farmland that sells to the US market. I am also concerned that China has gained the lion's share of chicken an pork processing. But Congress sort of dropped inquiries into this. Why? On a side note: Why do you use all CAPS? Due to decades of a long-term democrat and rino strategy to be rid of our ag land thru timber grants planting pine trees (using illegals here to plant the trees) with a longggg 15 year roi, set aside grants, conservation grants, flood plain grants then years later zoning flood land commercial to sell for millions around these new big car mfrs or for other huge companies coming in (amazing that cheap flood land with such restrictions on the land owner is now of interest to local realtors that buy it cheap and they make tens of millions overnite to build around huge companies coming in), building low income basically free housing on rural land then being left dilapidated and left behind to move into new low income housing elsewhere, windmills, solar panels, and now we hear gates and chineze purchasing land. Folks these solar panel folks are paying tens of millions for ag land and guess what-- folks are selling or leasing fast to solar panels yet now finding out thru media, poisonous chemicals are being put on this solar panel land and may never be able to be farmed for crops again plus these poisons can drain onto neighboring cattle land into water they drink! When the $ offered is too good to be true, there's an agenda. My opinion.
