I think it would add some variety to the channel and engage those of us that aren’t ass excited about coyote swaps. I would love to see y’all reuse some of the stock take off parts on this car. A stock air box, wires, distributor cover. You could even put the emissions equipment back on, we know now that it doesn’t cost much power. Would be an interesting series to see how much it takes and what needs to be addressed on an older fox from the bottom up and from front to rear.

The prices of Fox bodys are insane anymore. I'd call you crazy if you spent 3k on that car. That's a $1500 car in my opinion. It may be original but it's also been wrecked so you never know what hidden damage was done to the car. 90% of that interior is trashed... The major things that stuck out were seats, carpet, and door panels. Then a bunch of small things like ash tray, stereo, trim (mirror hole cover, gauge bezel, steering column bezel, HVAC controls.) I'll admit the body panels looked pretty clean, but the paint is rough. All the trim and seals need replaced or restored. Quarter windows are a stupidly expensive fix. I won't knock the pony's though. Mechanically the car is poor. Half the gauges don't work, the T-5 shakes and grinds gears, and the car has more leaks than the Titanic. Normally I'm not so critical but so many people don't realize how overwhelming these projects can be and that's why most of them go unfinished.

I bought one for 3400 a year ago was in better shape then that. Still needed work but was a bad deal. If u can get that for 2kmax and scramble up some parts that u have sitting around totally worth it. And a wash that car up and it will look good!!

Not a bad joker. That is something I could drive everyday. $2500 is my top dollar. Transmission may need to be replace, tires, tune up, brakes, engine and transmission mounts, fluids change, check the a/c, etc. Yeah, $2500 would be my top dollar. If I'm going to found one, like that. I need your help big time next year. I'll make the trip to you and hope I found a good one to bring back to Chicago. That is a nice one. No rust on the body.
