I'm just sitting here with a smile watching your adventure. Thanks for sharing it. I know it's not about the gear, but I hear that the Sony A9 lets you take pictures in complete silence. It sounds like quite an advantage in the wild. Have you never considered that? Enough taking about gear. I will find my 18-250 and go enjoy the nature and if I'm lucky get a memory on the card. You make me proud to be danish Morten!

I chose this video to share on social media for your 50K subscribers promotion - It is my favorite example from your channel of the wonders of exploring, finding unique moments and appreciating the beauty of nature in all its forms. I'm also a fan of the style you use of slowing down and taking in each moment in an age of fast cuts and "no more than 90 seconds of video" - This shows us how a longer video that takes it's time can be far more effective and enjoyable than quick clips.

Love your videos Morten. Really like the way you convey the atmosphere of stalking wildlife and your emotion when you get something you love - I was on the edge of my seat whilst watching. In your Facebook post you mention how you like further suggestions, etc.... well, my suggestion is this - I would post a video like this once a week, or so. They should be just like this once, so it doesn't have to be a super polished, hyper edited video - it just needs to show what it's REALLY like to be out there, photographing the life of wild animals. And I would say that this video does it perfectly. A key element is you, your emotion and your commentary - the more of YOU you put into the video, the better. When I watched this video, I really felt what it was like to be out there with you, and you bring your wildlife and your personalty to my living room. And I think it's great and will become essential viewing for other like minded people.

Thank you a 1000 times for your feedback. I really really appreciate it. I am especially glad that you were on the edge of your seat;) I will do my best to post as often as possible but I will try to find a balance. Thank you so much for writing. That is a really good question. The small sensor on the GH4 is not so good for the low light siturations but a full frame mirrorless would probably be awesome. I am going to test it out in the future:)

just take your camera, dress up in dark colours (most animals see in black and white but wearing darks colours helps with blending with bushes etc) and go outside to take photos - it takes a lot of time and patience so be ready for long hours of nothing happening ;) you can buy masking net to help you with hiding and it is way cheaper then special clothes that Morten wears (of course it is not as comfortable, but for beginning it is very good option) ;)

Fantastic video! I really appreciate your deliberately slow pacing with your editing - specifically the fox sequence - many people would have cut that up and edited the sequence down a lot, but the one long take (how many minutes was it?) was enthralling and really captured the emotion and atmosphere perfectly. Nicely done! Subbed and looking forward to working my through your videos :)

What can I say but WOW...what an excellent video. I was so impressed I had to sub you, and cannot wait for more of your vids and to watch your other videos. Definitly one of the very best wildlife photography videos I have seen on KZbin by far. As an avid wildlife photographer/outdoorsman myself, I could really convey the passion and the love of wildlife and nature that you have.......and that passion certainly shows in the videos. Your excitement and being lost for words when that Fox appeared reminded me of myself. Respect to you my friend! Love the forest you have, and I have the same camouflage suit also. Beautiful country you live in. I have a forest next to me, and I love to go shooting (with the camera) my local Muntjac deer. I tend to set up a small hide and await for them to show themselves, if they do that is. As you know, if they smell, hear or see you...they are off like a shot. But when you get a shot, then it makes it so much more rewarding. Love your Fox image, and your fallow images too. Always nice to get them acting natural as can be. Anyways, I have rambled on too much. But your video was a fantastic watch, loved it. You also have a great knack for the commentary too.....keep them coming please! ATB :-)

Sometimes you can use the noise of your shutter to your advantage. If a Fox or Deer is crossing open ground, one click can make it stop and look up giving you time to take a better picture. I use my camera on silent mode and click my finger to get their attention, then I can often take a number of pictures without alarming them and they usually move on without even knowing I was there.
