@@andyandrew7557 I can't see them being able to play together unless one of them becomes a defender, which IMO, is a terrible waste of a resource. I also can't see StKilda settling for anything less than a very good player or a high 1st round pick.

Compete's overhead in congestion one handed more times than not , gets drawn under the ball on high entries , no defensive side to his game and lazy defensively , out bodied regularly, so keep him unless one of the other clubs are prepared to put up a can of coke , a medium sized pizza and half a mars bar , then definitely trade

Max King should demand to be traded from St Kilda How can be happy when nearly each week he watches the opposition get it to their key forward in less than 30 seconds or in their forward line while his st kilda team mates muck around with it for 2 minutes in the centre because their trying to hard to defend space instead of getting into their forward line quickly and when they do finally get it to him he is under pressure how can he put up with that? Ross Lyon game plan hasn't changed since he left Fremantle play boring defensive football and put your supporters to sleep 😮

@@leaderofnoone9087 On the contrary mate, these two players REINFORCE my point! Both were capable full time full forwards, but Lyon never played either of them like that. Pavlich AA: full back, half forward x 2, Interchange x 2, full forward x 1 (coached by Chris Connolly & Mark Harvey). Riewoldt AA: Half forward x 4, forward pocket. Max King does not have anywhere near the flexibility of those two players either.

@@user-kw1gp3dq4o i agree, and also remember Nick Reiwoldt running up the wing half the time and everyone talking about his big tank(cardio). Cardio is not a power forwards strength. Kozi sat closer to FF and wasn't exactly a game winner even through he was decent.

@@dashman13 Bingo! Ross Lyon coached 2/4 times Reiwoldt won the StKilda goal kicking and 1/8 times Pavlich won the Freo goal kicking! In total, this equates to only 3/10 seasons he coached both players.

As a Saints supporter I’ve watched every game of Max’s career. The problem isn’t Max. The problem is St Kilda. The service he gets from our mids is pathetic. You’d want to be anywhere but St Kilda if you were a key fwd.

@@ma3stro681 I agree. His kicking hasn’t been good. He doesn’t have any space to lead to though. We move the ball so slow from our defensive setup that by the time it gets to him it just gets bombed long and he has 2-3 defenders on him to deal with and gets smashed at every contest.
