i'm mentioning my own little story cause it kind of is similar to his story in a way, but from a different place which is lithuania(which is near ukraine/belarus/russia area.) well. my grandma was from lithuania, even back then in lithuania similar situation now in ukraine,, there was villages where massacres would occur and then the villages would be burned down, lithuania belarus ukraine ect, many countries in that area waas being hit with those. and my grand fled with my grandpa who was norwegion to chicago. then my dad chicago grew up moved to california around age 30 and met my mom who is irish with red hair and had me. i still livei n california.
