Last year I was in New York, at a great little Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village (Montes Trattoria, try it.) the waiter asked us where we were from, I said "Wales" .. he threw his arms up in the air and shouted "Wrexham, Wrexham.. super Paul Mullin" when I told him we were actually from Wrexham, and that I was a member of the club, he was over the moon.. (he actually said "No F***ing Way?) .. 👍🏴

Must be nice to see that. From a not very well known club in Wales to now one of the, if not the largest known clubs outside top leagues. Happy for you man, as-well for all the fans.

On MacDougal Street, a typical old Italian, the waiter looks like an old mafia hit man..? It was also full of Italian families, which is also a good indication. It was one of the best meals we had there... and for New York, not too pricey either. Enjoy your time their.. It's a fantastic city.. 👍🏴

It was a real blow losing Paul Mullin to Wrexham especially when goals were hard to come by. However football careers are short, his family are from the North and Wrexham's offer was more than we could afford. Good luck Paul and thanks for all you did for Cambridge.

@@willhopewell idk maybe just your previous reply did not give any thing valid to start a discussion but obviously you have a countpoint or whatever for what mossshark commented? Then you mentioned the club is unsustainable, i mean that's literally the biggest challenge the club will need to cope with and they're fully aware of that since no one ever had achieved the same business mode as Wrexham has done before? Now Wrexham is doing well in League 2, so I think at this point it's too early for anyone to jump to conclusion.

From a neutral perspective, I can see them quite easily making it to the Championship on this type of momentum. For there though, that’s where it goes from money to fuckloads of money. Then to get to the PL is the billionaire club. I support Brighton, and our journey was so fucking special with a billionaire owner that has three generations of connection to the club, and it still took us 10 years from L2 to PL, and then another 4 years before we became an established PL side. And we can still slip out at any moment. The journey is so much better than any big 6 club fan will ever experience though, I truly believe that.

I think Fozzie should get the Kop temporary stand named after him. I've already seen people calling it "The Stand of Foz." It's kind of appropriate. It's not going to be there very long, but it'll make a big difference while it is. 😁

Devastated that we could have kept him at Cambridge if we had offered him better terms - the owners should have recognised that the investment would have more than paid for itself. Best striker we had since Dion, and clearly a real man of the people - I loved his F*** the Tories logo on his boots - shame the spoil-sports at Wrexham banned them!! (should be compulsory wear for all players ha ha) Any one criticising Paul for accepting a pay rise is a simple hypocrite.

Wishing Paul Mullin every success - he deserves it. Talented, and a lovely guy. I’m not sure I’d want my club, however, to be the toy of a couple of Hollywood “stars” … I was in LA recently, and the poverty and homelessness there was distressing and tragic. Not as sad as having two Hollywood billionaires pick your club out of a hat as a toy for a few years. Though that in turn is nowhere near as bad as having your club bought by the Saudis to “diversify their portfolio”, I’ll give you that!
