last year, I learned this from observing a stray momma dog. as I visited and fed her, S did many others, I hurt. but one afternoon? I saw her joy in the pastureland. and I sensed why? nothing was between her and our Heavenly Father. and, I observed, her joy was so succinct. and in my mom's heart, I "heard" or saw the Host. And as if Sophie said think of Him. Not me. And soon after Sophie disappears from the pastureland and in a dream she greets me. Like a tiny spark she appeared. But with love beyond understanding. A dog convinced me to return to Christ. Amen. I am praying the rosary again. Listening daily to Mass and praying and repeating and confessing.

Thank you for the messages of hope. And the floating picture of St Therese de Lisieux in the background. But when Fr Pat says he has a “high” regard for pope Francis it’s struck me as odd. With all the public actions and words that have contradicted his “preaching of mercy” when it came to his critics or his perceived critics, it’s hard to have a “high” regard for this pope. That doesn’t mean we don’t pray for him or give his office the highest respect, but for him to say he has a high regard for pope Francis does seem quite noteworthy. The rest of Fr Pat’s message is for sure very sound and credible. God bless.

I just did a 6-week living in the holy spirit with a charismatic group from my church. I just want to say that on the last day I was prayed over it was November 6th 2024 and the following day I felt a demonic Spirit come over me and I fell away with doubt from praying and from going to confession for 6 weeks. What does that mean? Any thoughts? I just recently went back to confession, and have asked God to forgive me for going through this season of doubt.

At least one of the people in your charismatic group transferred a demon or demons to you, probably through laying hands on you. Stick to communion and confession, and give the charismatic group a miss.

Please research Fr Chad Ripperger American Exorcist. He advises to stay away from Charismatic groups. The movement of the Holy Spirit is GOOD but people have made it all about themselves. I attend a Charismatic Healing Retreat run by a holy, gifted priest and have received physical healings but i never go near prayer groups

I think the book Come Holy Spirit is good. By Dolindo Rutolo a close friend of Padre Pio. I don't know enough about the Charismatic Renewal. I don't like the idea that we need the baptism of the Holy Spirit, because where does it say that in the bible. According to Dolindo Ruotolo anyone with Charismatic gifts we are to be suspicious of if they don't have the markings of a saint. We are supposed to pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they're more important than Charisms.
