Our own Saint Thomas Aquinas, our own Saint John of the Cross. And that makes me proud of being born in our times. Fr Ripperger is the pride of the Church in America. Protect this man at all costs.

Watched and re-watched and am totally grateful for what Father Ripperger has passed on. 12 years of catholic education and never taught this at all. I left the church years ago,- my sinning and and a lack of depth in answers. Very few priests in these Dark End Times have any heart felt desire for the salvation of souls which is why very few in the laity have a heart felt desire for salvation. Salvation is now taken for granted. When was the last time a Catholic has heard his or her parish priest preach against sin from the pulpit? in my entire adult life I have heard only one priest preach against the common mortal sins of the flesh from the pulpit, and I am 68 years old. God intended to have him receive grace.....and the faculty to explain and teach what has been forgotten or ignored. No doubt, Chad sought God's direction for his life, and this is where he is at....in a time.....where the potential for increases in merit is available ONLY to us, at this strange time. Where we end up in a heavenly ranked system, will be for an eternity.....so this is the time to invest in perfecting virtue....and it has to be done for God's benefit, not our own self interest. Good Luck. A certain part of Father Chad's liturgy is ambition in the spiritual realm. I don't know if that's a sin (selfishness) or a virtue (for God's glory). I'm feckless......by nature........so, I haven't been living a perfectly holy life. I'm not ambitious as far as spiritual perfection....and perhaps that's why I was targeted for afflictions. I'm just a surfer looking for a wave....because I like to entertain myself.

It is with great joy that my life is so tangled between the Protestant faith and the Catholic faith that during severe oppression and difficult circumstances, I have prayed to Our Lady and the Heavenly Father. They help me along with the Saints to continue with prayer in my darkest days. My main problem is forgiveness, as I have endured tribulation from people who were not my parents and a husband who beat me up and shot himself in front of me back in 1985. Just make a good confession, don't leave anything out. And be truly contrite. The priest has the faculties to absolve you of all your sins, and you will walk out of the confessional in a state of grace. Then avoid grave sin, pray every day, and go to mass/receive communion, and you will probably remain in a state of grace. But if in doubt, go to confession again! This is why Christ gave us this sacrament. It is so wonderful.

I admire his ability to talk without referring notes especially when he quotes the definitions which is really hard to memorize each definitions. It's God's Gift

He doesn't "memorize" the definitions. He understands them. That's why he has no problem recalling them. It's like driving a car. I wouldn't want to ride with someone who just "memorized" how to drive. Give me someone who has experience driving and understands it, and I will ride with them.

It’s unbelievable that the church doesn’t teach the discipline of the 64 virtues. Everybody gets bored with the same mass every week, but the church doesn’t teach empirically.
