I'm begging you Warwick, stop using that mic for a bass combo. It needs something better, any condenser mic, like Neumann U 87, AKG 414 or any other equivalent. That's would be really great, cause it will bring out the exact natural tone from the speaker, our beloved Sound of Wood. Good luck and thanks for all the stuff you create!

the first time i heard of Mudvayne and saw pics of them, my first initial thought was, oh great another numetal band that will fade into obscurity in a couple of years. then i heard a couple of tracks and liked what i heard so i bought L.D. 50 and was blown away the more i listened to the cd and i think it was Ryan's contributions that made them stand out to me and i think that he's an intrigual part or Mudvayne's sound. he is most definitely a talented bassist. i'd love to see him do a jazz cd

very inspiring. reminds me again why i was such a hugh fan and why i might go back to bass. its a very powerful yet underated instrument especailly the way he does it and seeing all that can be done with it. ryan really needs to start another band. i think him and matthew mcdough (the drummer from mudvanye and yes i know i cant spell) would create a killing new band. id buy it in a heart beat cause i know it would be awesome. thanks for the inspiration and keep please jammin
@Sh1bble
@Sh1bble 10 жыл бұрын
Same, Matt was a huge driving force for a lot of their technicality in L.D 50 and TEOATTC, Ryan's writing for bass parts is fucking incredible too, both of them would gel quite easily into a lot of technical metal bands. Hell, Ryan half reminds me of Evan Brewer from the Faceless to a small extent.
