Fully agree. 2CR is the best for Stats. There are two more very good channels out there. Check Eggchasers (the best for interpreting the Laws of the game), and Inside Rugby with Mark (also very knowledgeable and intuitive).

I'm french but am an absolute fan of Juan Cruz "Juanchi" Mallia. Obv am a fan of Toulouse where he has played all backline positions consistently for years. Juanchi, 11 jersey this week end. OK Boss, I'll crush it. Juanchi, 10 jersey for the next. OK Boss I'll be better than my opponent who plays 10 every week end. Juanchi, 15 jersey, no problem ? Boss, are u serious ^^ Juanchi, come off the bench and do something to help us win and everything to not blow it ? Boss, you know me by now, I can do everything, this is what I do. To me he's the Manu Ginobili of the Pumas. Much respect and an absolute gem of a guy outside the pitch. Can't remember a game where he struggled.

Many Argentineans and French are playing alongside each other in Top 14 so I think the game is going to be quite close between their international squads! I do believe Argentina will win, the last French game was though and the pumas might be eager to prove their ranking !! Especially when French development team gave them a hard time at home this summer... We will see ;)

Ramos is a Portuguese name, and Cros is from the South, where final consonants were pronounced traditionally. It's also Cros, pronounced like cross, not like gross, the o is not what's expected in standard French...Even the journalists on TV don't pronounce it correctly...Complicated.

agree. And France has one less day to recover from a busy busy shift vs the ABs. Maybe some fatigue at some point. But Galthié has also put some fresh blood, gona be a very fun one. Both teams can play and I don't see a team having as much possession as NZ last week so we'll see some silky ball handling from both sides hopefully. I'll be at the game ^^

This is gonna be a tricky game for France. Some of the argentine's performances this summer where incredible. Too bad Penaud couldn't make it again as he's still suffering from a pulmunary infection. Anyway it's a tough one to call, for once my heart and my head say France by a small margin.

Biggest upset potential being Juan Cruz Mallia who happens to play in the same club that 8 out of 23 french... The game will be great, tense, passionate, spectacular, you name it ... and Luke Pearce is good news because it also should be a hard to referee. In the end, bookies will be right though.

I think Fiji will run a changed Irish side quite close and only a low penalty count will be a step forward. Scotland v Australia and France v Argentina will be the games of the weekend. I seen an article saying Wales had nothing to lose v RSA but they could lose the match, lose their coach, lose loads more fans, drop to their lowest ever ranking and lose their 12th game on the trot. England have a defence issue so only holding Japan scoreless could be seen as some improvement, if they play loose and defend like they did against Australia it will be a try fest.

As for Cros, everyone here say "Cross" instant of Cro, which would sound like the French "Croc" (meaning "fang" - and the final C is silent too). Overall, people in southern France tend to pronounce the final S, unlike those in the northern part of the country. I hope this helps.

Not totally clear whether it was just playing form or a bit of Toulouse v Bordeaux internal politics that caused the whole situation! Penaud also still being out is a bit odd.

Los Pumas will take this one for me. They have the skills and players to pull this off. The only potential issue they have is their discipline. If they can be more disciplined and control the last 20 minutes France will find it difficult.

Irish fan here, France definitely taken this one. Ireland won last week against Argentina and this was one of the worst irish performances in years, we haven't evenngot into 2nd gear yet in the autumn internationals. Loads of errors and giving away penalties like its Christmas. Anyway france wont give away penalties like we did and they are fired up so definitely a lose for Argentina on the cards. When I used to go to Patrick Kavanaugh's or The Australian in Manhattan to watch the tri nations gamed from RSA I'd start drinking at 9am on the way into the city. Thank God I no longer drink.
