One thing that I will always enjoy about how MCR was back then is that in the beginning they were four dudes from New Jersey who dreamt of being rockstars, that they would conquer "their" world, and God damnit did they do that. The amazing part is, is that even up until they broke up, they reminded themselves everyday that they were still those four dudes from NJ who wanted to be a rockstar. They always joked around with each other, interacted with their fans, and were just a great bunch of people who have made kids like me feel as if we really are meant to be here on this earth. Whether it was through the use of metaphors in their albums since they were always a conceptual band, or through interviews. It's 2016 and I still am proud to call myself an MCR fan, and I know my 9 year old self is happy too (I say that because I was 9 when Three Cheers came out hahaha just to clear the confusion).
