This is also why so many of us, right, left and center, are so against him and have been since day one! We see who and what he truly is and that he should have zero place in our politics. Hey Chris from Australia! Just wanted to say I found the last ten minutes of your interview addressed to the cadets really inspiring. As a 61 year old I can totally attest to the fact that it’s not WHAT happens to you in life, but how you react, and the choices you make. I broke my hip last year and knew I could either give in to the pain and hobble around for the rest of my life, or fight and struggle to regain my mobility. I chose the latter and as you say it’s not a part time commitment, it’s struggling and fighting pain, and doing it over and over and not giving up. Thank you for verbalising what I truly believe. The last time I saw Frank Luntz he was yelling at me cause I didn’t bring a pencil to his lecture. This was after having an awful morning where everything went wrong. False equivalence is the coward’s way of not looking at the facts for what they are because it’s consequential. Guys, if the Republicans chose someone akin to Mitt Romney, none of these vitriolics and negativity would exist to a boiling point as it does versus Harris. But trying to normalize Trump as though he were a normal candidate is central to the flaws surrounding this conversation. He isn’t qualified despite republicans embracing him as the enemy of their enemy. This kills the common thread that we all should be sharing.
