Sinatra was always so great at clearly ‘enunciating’ the words of his songs, many immigrants learned English from Ol’ Franky back then.

Try learning English from rap.

Interesting to read that Sinatra and Shelly Winters hated one another during the filming of this movie. Serious acting effort to hide it.

She looks like someone Sinatra would never be attracted to.

She was rather strong in real life. Lots of men care more for soft spoken ladies.

Surely some of the Greatest Times of anything ever, people just weren't aware of that at the time.

Right! If we had anything if scratching the surface of the quality of sinatra they would be on top in this era. Nothing compared to the vocalist of the mid 1900s

Apparently, Sinatra was going through the divorce from Nancy Sinatra in order to marry Ava Gardner, so he was hell to work with.

Anyone know why it’s hard to find a copy of this movie anywhere? I’ve watched all his others but I can’t seem to find this one online or in person.

How glad the many millions of Annabelles and Lillians Would be to capture me But you had such persistence, you wore down my resistance I fell and it was swell I'm your big and brave and handsome Romeo How I won you I shall never never know It's not that you're attractive But, oh, my heart grew active When you came into view I've got a crush on you, sweetie pie All the day and night-time hear me sigh I never had the least notion That I could fall with so much emotion Could you coo, could you care For a cunning cottage that we could share The world will pardon my mush 'Cause I have got a crush, my baby on you

Does anyone know who the backup singers are? The Charioteers or The Mills Brothers?
@thomasleary28143 жыл бұрын
Just wondering the same thing. I know it's not the Mills Brothers though.

They were a West Coast Quartet called THE EBONAIRES. They at that time consisted of: Louis Young -1st Tenor, Norman Brooks -2nd Tenor, JAMES BRADLEY -Baritone and JOHN DIX -BASS.

Who are the black singing group? I can’t find them In the movie credits.
@uncannyvalley44410 ай бұрын
The singers are Louis Young, John Dix, Norman Brooks, and James Bradley. They were session vocalists, not an actual singing group. They only portrayed a vocal quartet for the film.
