Rest in peace, Steve Lawrence! I hope your reunion with Eydie is marvelous.

Steve and Eydie were the greatest. As most know, Steve passed a couple of weeks ago (March 2024). There will never be a time theme where so many great ones were entertaining. We will miss them all...

What a moment for posterity. Thanks to technology, video, Internet, person who post this gem for us to enjoy. You know something, as soon as Eydie Gormé opens her mouth you can realize how great she was as a singer. One of the best, perhaps underestimated. I like Steve Lawrence, even though I think his voice or style of singing was a little "stiff", inflexible. Of course, Mr. Sinatra is the master in the best sense of the word. Nobody could reach that man. He was the best of them all. May they rest in peace.

They are having such a great time doing what they do best! Imagine having a job you love that millions appreciate across the globe. Pretty amazing. And I love all the up tempo songs in this medley. Seeing this introduced a lot of Mr Sinatra's songs that I never heard before. Really enjoying this!

I seen all of them at The Garden during this World Tour that year, I'll never forget it, I have a load of pictures I took. I seen Sinatra two more times after this at Radio City Music Hall and I have all the ticket stubs, play-bills and souvenir books from those three shows framed and hanging in my bedroom still to this very day, strangely enough when my dog Zoey jumps on my bed she'll always stare at the picture of Sinatra on this tour's souvenir book cover. It was actually called "The Chivas Regal Diamond Jubilee Tour" and that framed picture is hanging right behind me as I'm writing this😊

I believe Eydie was on medication at that time which caused her temporary weight gain. If you look at all the videos after that time period you will see she was back to normal. I saw her in person a few years after this show and she looked beautiful and her voice was amazing! What a talent! There will never be anyone like her.
