I would’ve gone for the C 12th diminished ninth or the C14th diminished ninth. The C13th flat ninth was a bold choice

Also, I'm not sure if you know this, but you have a tendency of your fingers being situated like your going to play a certain chord shape and then just as you play the chord you switch your fingers up to play the actual chord you want to play.
