Dude’s awesome. Jack La Lane worked out until his death at 95 and looked good. Zane has a great mind. Not doddering or dementia. I wanna be/look like Mr Zane at 80. I remember reading about his career in the Weider’s publications, back when I started lifting.

I remember Mr. Zane when I as a kid . Now at 68 I still work out several day's a week . Lots of yoga , mmx routines, plyo, Core work. Chin up and pushups. And Still feel pretty good. I attribute it to the body builders when I was a kid. I just hope I never lose the desire to stay fit.

You can get the “real” stuff from any compound pharmacy. They have to sell you the real stuff. You don’t have to go to Trancend.

Depending on what age group he is referring to when he said " kids " ( he's old maybe just a figure of speech ) there is no way in hell any teenager should take peptides, SARMs, gear, etc I stayed natural for six years until I dabbled off and on for another 3 years and I can tell you I'm glad I built a foundation I may not be a mass monster but I'm 37 and in good health while these jackasses I knew were blasting gear and peptides in there twenties and most of them now don't even lift and everytime they come off they don't even look like bodybuilders

People that have seen Frank Zane in real life all say the pictures and videos don’t do him justice. He had incredible muscle quality, maturity, deep separation to the muscle with amazing shape and insertion’s he was incredible man normal people see the weight he competed at and think that is achievable but no it was no where near achievable. Mr Frank Zane if you are reading this thank you for all the inspiration and knowledge you have given us. Stay healthy stay positive you are amazing!💪😁

Heart can't sustain the load in the vast majority of individuals as they get older... Best advice is to know when to switch from bodybuilding to body maintenance and emphasize WEIGHT LOSS in a healthy fashion... Most bodybuilders don't know when is time to make the switch and they die young...

Love frank Zane. Feel like he was robbed most of his career. That said... what a bad take. I get it though from his perspective. I mean he approached lifting solely for the aesthetic benefits of it. I mean... that was his career. As you age though even if you continue to work out religiously at some point due to age.... you will get weaker. You will get smaller. I can see that as being VERY demotivating for a bodybuilder obsessed with aesthetics. BUT if you lift mainly for the health benefits and strength gains/ maintenence and the aesthetics are just a side effect and you truly own that mentality...... there will ALWAYS be a "point" to keep going and not just give up and turn to shit - no offense Zane. A lot of former pro bodybuilders though tend to turn to shit once they hit their 70s. There are a few expections but for the most part by the time they hit their 70s they look like average Joes. Some.... by their 60s. And again, I get it. When your sole motivation to even enter a gym is 100% aesthetics.... it's very easy to lose motivation. I mean for actual average Joes.... that's how they act but in shorter spans on time. They need to get into shape for something in their mind.... let's say... their wedding. They'll eat right and workout up until the wedding. But then afterwards.... what's the point? Point being - if aesthetics are your sole reason for lifting/ working out - yeah... you WILL lose motivation and quit at some point. If you workout/lift for health and strength gaining/maintaining reasons..... you'll lift until you die. Side effect will be you'll probably look better than Frank Zane... in his 80s. Because a side effect of working out for health and strength.... is aesthetics. Strong men athletes and power lifters struggle to maintain their fatness. A lot of them hate their diet. Once they retire though... they continue to lift... for fun because they enjoy it. They usually lose a ton of weight and look great. Better in their 40s/50s and beyond than when they competed in their 20s and 30s. Same can be said about NFL offensive and defensive linemen. They STRUGGLE during their careers to maintain their 290-320 lb size. But when they retire a lot of them (not all) lose a ton of weight and generally look incredible in their 50s and beyond. Bottom line.... lift for the RIGHT reasons.... and you'll never lose motivation. Because if you do lose motivation.... you pretty much gave up caring about life at that point. Because if you lift for strength and health.... and still lose motivation.... that pretty much means you no longer care about strength and health.

Such a nice kind guy Franks is but always seems a bit too much on the serious side, not much of a sense of humor.Always waiting for someone to make him crack up never happens.

Yeah he is very serious at all times. I had a phone consultation with Frank in the early 2000's. No joking, no talk about gear. Almost seemed annoyed and a chip on his shoulder. Still a Legend IMO, but it was a disappointment. 007
