Loved this song so much in my childhood and adolescence without even trying to understand the lyrics let alone having the capability to do so (I am German). It's such a good tune and Zappas vocals are so nice to listen to. When I started to comprehend the lyrics it grew on me even more. It's pretty funny to me that I kept hearing this song on the radio regularly until at least 2004. Now it's 2024 and that's quite unthinkable. To me it's now seriously one of the best pieces of music ever made.

That's because it has the line "Oh God, I am the American Dream" in it. That's like how George W wanted to use Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA as his campaign song. Anyway, my English was only good enough at around 25 to understand the lyrics and one night on a bit of weed me and a friend did. Boy, what did we laugh.

Perfect lyrics to dedicate at people who are rich (even not rich people) famous and follow all "laws" and they fear to "Break" all the rules. Everytime i listen this song, i think Frank write this to me for remember me that i'm surrounded to this kind of people! By the way, i miss people like Frank Zappa that complain everything in the right way!
