really...you have my sympathies but better late than never. welcome to the world of frank zappa . sheik yourboti(,the album bobby brown is from) isn't the only album he's made...not by a long shot ...if your really interested. go back to 1966 to his first album with his group "the mothers of invention" and work your way up .. there's a literal hell's half acre of material to cover but you have my guarantee as a fan and a musician you will be not disappointed ....if bobby brown made you laugh your ass off.....songs like hungry freaks,daddy,,let's make the water turn black,,trouble every day,,lumpy gravy, hot rats,don't eat the yellow snow,,stink foot,apostrophe,,Stevie's spanking and more material that will make you laugh and think ...that's the beauty of zappa....welcome to his world ....

If he was still with us he would be turning 80 this year. I first heard him around '69. Still a kid then not grasping all of his lyrics but picked up on them as time went on. This was one of his best albums that he put out. R.I.P. Frank.

Similar I was youngish about 14yrs 1970 and started listening to allkinds think I was about 15/16, when I first heard Zappa & the Mothers at someone's house. Loved the guitar and the satire from day one. Think if was Freak Out and Hot Rats at first ❤️still listen to Zappa today Billy the Mountain from Just another Band from L. I was at a Buffalo Bills game , got there early , and the marching band ( from OHIO as I recall ), came out to practice ...they played a medley of Frank Zappas greatest hits ...Bobby Brown was one ... The halftime show was great !!! . They were so good they came out for an encore after the game was over . I can't believe I stayed for the whole thing .

This song was very popular in Germany... I heard it played often on the radio in the years from 2003-2006. I hadn't heard it before then and died laughing every time I did!

traveling through Germany my friend introduced me to THIS song the year Zappa died in1994. I was blown away. When I bought the album Shiek Yerbouti I fell in love right then and there. I couldn't believe this existed all my life without me knowing about it.
