Yeah, this one really felt like losing a family member. He and his band owned summertime. Happy Feelings was my song. As soon as it got hot outside I'd hear this song in my head.

This really upsets me right now. I mean i grew up listening to frankie beverly and maze. They were one of the best and baddest r&b groups of all time. His signature white outfit and the white cap he wears onstage will always be unforgettable and his voice will always be with us. If it wasnt for Marvin Gaye who gave them their props, there wouldnt have been maze and Frankie Beverly. So sorry to hear about his death. We've already lost James Earl Jones and FB.
