Frankie Beverly said he was not bothered by any awards. He just loved making music for the people. He didn't need any awards to validate him as an artist, who is also a "musical genius." He was just that kind of dude. He stayed true to himself as an artist, and he did not change his style to follow trends in today's music industry. He was not bothered by commercial success. He just wanted to do him. 👍🏾💯👍🏾 He may be gone, but he most definitely will not be forgotten. To Mr. Frankie Beverly, "JOB WELL DONE! "Often imitated, but never duplicated." He was/is one of a "rare" kind. They just don't make them like him anymore. 🎶🎤🎸🎤🎶 His music is "timeless," and it will live on throughout all of eternity. He is a beautiful "butterfly" 🦋 out there in the wind, floating, soaring, singing, dancing, and jamming to his own music throughout all of eternity. 🦋🌌🌠🌌🦋🌌🌠🌌🦋 🎶🎤🎶🎹🎶🎹🎶🎤🎶

Thank you for highlighting Frankie Beverly. Many celebrities of color never get recognized due to cultural barriers in America. I enjoyed this video and celebrate equal rights for all in the public eye.

James Earl Jones now Frankie Beverely. We're losing a great generation and now who's left? The younger generation has no honor, loyalty or drive like those of the past.

ShaShaLuva414....Agree Stone Soul will never be the same... me & a group of friends first seen Frankie at the Berkeley Greek Theatre in 1983 & became lifelong fans, when ever he came we were there from the Oakland Paramount to the New Orleans Essence Festival 🎉🎉🎉 My last show was his concert at the Concord Pavillion in 2022. Frankie was definitely a favorite touching generations. His music was pure "black joy" feel good music. Frankie Family "I Wanna Thank You" for sharing him with the world. RIP in all white, will truly be missed. Thank God for my playlist❤

No acknowledgment whatsoever from BET, NO Awards, no Grammy nothing. No tribute for lifetime achievement and he’s about to pass. So reprehensible from the music industry. Frankie and Maze are phenomenal.

It's heart-wrenching that frankie didn't get the recognition he so well deserved. His music will live forever. Frankie, you brought "joy" to me, but now your death has caused a lot of "pain."
