I was actually present at this performance. I can remember absolutely nothing of what he said, but vividly recall the sheer joy of his performance. A master, sadly missed!

Can't believe it's over 30 years since we lost Frankie, an absolute legend!

One of the best comedians we have had in UK. Sadly missed, but not forgotten. RIP Frankie. Thanks for the memories.

Quite amazing, Francis had drifted in and out of fashion, as it were, but here, and towards the end of his life, he had a young audience in stitches and eating out of his hand. I think there was truth in his nervous state before a performance, like so many of th me great comedians. TV was not great for that era of stand up as it over exposed the performer and made it necessary to continually find new material. Great to watch and thank you for posting.

Is Tiz the same Work and Pensions Secretary Therese Coffey?

Yup it is. Only she failed her degree and was booted out so she went to UCL instead. Useless then as now.

I COME from Suffolk (Ipswich) - small world. But I've been retired to Thailand for the last decade - it's 25C here, as I type this! Is Tiz any relation to Denise Coffey?
