@artixi32912 жыл бұрын
I would argue that STP's and NTJ's are much more similar than they are different. They share the same Perceiving axis but how they go about using that information is different. An ISTP for example prefer to go into things kinesthetically and learn by getting directly involved where as an INTJ would prefer to sit back and observe the ISTP doing the thing and learn visually then some how try to execute it once they feel they've analyzed it enough. They may end up at the same result but their way of going about things is different. The same is true about ESTP and ENTJ. Both of these types often tend to share some common stereotypes with entrepreneurship and the stock market, but their ways of going about it are different. ESTP is more likely to try just about anything and eventually something will work out (Hero Se with inferior Ni) where ENTJ is more calculative about it and limiting to what they believe will be more efficient and best (Aux Ni supporting dominant Te). It's very easy for these types to get confused for one another because they can often end up with a similar external persona--especially since the judging functions can emulate each other where Fe+Ti minics Fi/Te and Fi+Te mimics Fe/Ti making typing an even firmer convoluted mess (and that's without getting to an 8 functions model).

As an INFJ, I definitely couldn't relate to the last girl. I'm too lazy, even for my passions, to do such a detailed spreadsheet. 😅 I mean kudos to her, that was cool. 👏 But waaayyy too much 'thinking" for INFJ. When I did the MBTI my initial reaction was "omg yes I feel this way...I can't believe I finally there is something which describes me and helps me understand myself more". Also, I might be wrong, but sensors tend to be more direct with their gaze. Like they really are IN the world. While intuitives tend to glance around, because they are looking for answering to come out of thin air or appear suddenly from inside of them (if you know what I mean 😅)

Totally get what you mean. I’m also an INFJ and there’s no way we’d put THAT much work into a spreadsheet unless we were being forced and graded on it.

I just reached the end of this video and from the getgo, her vibes gave me ISTJ. The spreadsheet looks cute but that's something my ISTJ mom would use. She's not familiar with MBTIs and sort of hates it since I talk about it a lot but anything my mom wants to account for she'd immediately use Excel. That woman has heavy TE function, her thoughts were based on external things rather than within herself, I'm no expert and I have lots to learn about MBTI but I am feeling TE from MBTI even though I can't explain it properly. ISTJ's second function is TE, and their first is SI. I just made a quick scan for this, " Si users feel the desire to collect information. Si wants to watch, listen and learn." I refuse to believe she is an INFJ.

I’m an istj female and would never do that either(for the same reasons you listed, actually). Yet, that doesn’t mean she isn’t an istj, just like only because you wouldn’t do that, as an infj, doesn’t mean she couldn’t be one. We all have different level of energies and different ways of collecting data. I know many infjs extremely different from one another and I know many istjs very different from me. That’s just how it is sometimes. I didn’t mean to come off as rude btw 😊
@edi01572 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is basically the biggest ISTJ stereotype you will ever find. Not even I (an actual ISTJ) would expend the energy on that or even thought of that method but still, we are always portrayed as Excel-loving nerds yet that is an INFJ? Maybe the high INFJ result is because they are always the deep thinker type in FJ videos but the high Fe is still weird (a lot of Fi empathy + going out a lot making her better at reading emotions? Still a highly tenous theory). I d say this particular INFJ just felt so misunderstood that she just HAD to find out a definitive answer though. We can t claim to know her better than herself, especially after all of that effort

Even when reading through lists for instance, I have a hard time reading first line 1, then 2, then 3, etc. My eyes jump from one line to the other. 16 personalities in a fantasy story be like: ENFJ: Main character and brave heroic chosen one of the story. Is the one who gets strangers to join the party and maybe rallies a town to war. INFJ: The wise old sensei who probably dies but gives the heroes a ton of advice. ESFP: The silly sidekick not armed with much who probably shouldn't be in our group of traveling vigilantes but is anyway and offers comic relief. ESTP: The big tough dude in the party who's there for some reason like being promised money. Probably betrays the party. ESFJ: The healer/protagonist's love interest/emotional support of the party. INFP: Edgey character with a dark and emotionally scarring backstory. Probably a rogue or something stealthy. ISTP: Vengeance seeking swashbuckler who tagged along with the party because of a common goal. ISFJ: The pure hearted being who either helps the party or ends up having to be rescued. ENFP: Crazy hermit the party runs into in the middle of the forest. Probably offers information to the party but ends up trying to poison them. ISFP: The random warrior wandering the wilderness. Challenges the party for seemingly no reason. Backstory is revealed later in the story. Fights alongside the party in the final battle. ISTJ: Sketchy stranger who tries to manipulate the party into following them. Turns out to be working for the Dark Lord. INTJ: Commander of the Dark Lord's evil forces. That one character who the Dark Lord is constantly chewing out for failing to kill the party. Probably ends up betraying the Dark Lord. INTP: The dragon or massive monster who stole something of value that the heroes need to retrieve in order to succeed. Sleeps alone at the top of a mountain or at the bottom of a cavernous dungeon. Probably kills off one of the heroes, most likely the sensei. ENTP: Corrupt politician secretly on the Dark Lord's side. Manipulates the masses and turns an entire town against the heroes. Probably ends up confronted by the party and either dies or joins their side. ESTJ: Second in command/apprentice to the Dark Lord. Is cold-hearted and ruthless towards the party. Probably is the one the party thinks is behind everything before the true dark lord is revealed. ENTJ: The Dark Lord themselves. The big bad evil guy. Has legions of baddies and cults following them that the party have to get through. Is confronted by the party at the very very end of the story in one final epic battle.

True story. One's identity is what one's identity is Types are factorization 3x+1 Always results in a loop to one As a type to one x=16 Results in one looped in a square which equals 1 personality type. I call it human

OMG this video is so exciting!!! I was trying to go along and make my guesses while watching and I got 7/8 the same as you which is so cool!!! The only one that I got differently was the third person who I was thinking ESTJ with high Te and what seemed like high Si, however i did learn that dominant Se may do things similar to Si because of the strong sensory overall, so ESFP makes a lot of sense too. I also loved how you typed many of them with tertiary Fi instead of zoning down on “feel” and considering them F types. I also really liked how you didn’t necessarily vibe check them and explained the reasoning. I know a lot of people will see a vibe and say “ENFP” but you really explained why it is Se and not Ne, there weren’t branching of abstract ideas. Overall wonderful video!!

His Sunday videos usually are but videos like this don’t tend to rile my interest that much. I don’t tend to have that much interest in guessing the types of other KZbinrs, at least not to the extent of wilfully sitting through a once-weekly video about it.

@@Anonymous_Anon882 You don't have to watch if you don't want to. You can't expect someone to cater exactly to your needs/likes, especially someone who doesn't know you and is thinking of his community as a whole. Many do enjoy this type of video

@@stephanierowlett7809 I enjoy his videos on the whole probably more than you do but that doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to express an opinion (criticism can be either positive or negative and both are constructive within reason) if I happen not to like a particular one of his videos. There’s more I enjoy than I don’t with Frank James’ stuff but if I feel like one or two of his videos don’t hit the mark with me personally I’m just going to say. Like you say I’m just one person who he doesn’t know so it is what it is. I love him too much to let things like that spoil my viewing experience so it’s just one of those things. I’m sure Frank’s mature enough to deal with it.

Yay, the series is finally back, it would be so much better if we actually knew everyone s type in the video so we can compare our and your guesses to reality, as it is we can only confirm 1 or 2 (if we count spreadsheet girl that basically gave her type in that spreadsheet) correct guesses. Still funny though. Loved the Wii editing too, that was such a big part of my childhood. Now for a bunch of miscellaneous points: 3:29 yeah, but do we have glasses? No, so clearly not INTP. Beat you with your own logic FJ. 4:28 Most emotionally intelligent thinker moment 11:47 this one though has both glasses and science which is a kind of math so may be mistyped. 13:06 ok, being serious now, why do you not know his type? That would be interesting to do a video on and explain. 13:18 as an ISTJ not even I did this lol. Apparently she isn’t though, take that MBTI community!

Yes, more Chris Farley! A whole episode about dead comedians would be great, the tragic ones _and_ the not-so-tragic ones.

So, just because I wear glasses (and contacts), I'm a thinker?? You just threw me a curveball. Now I don't know what I am.🙃😂 Editor Kevin? Maybe ESTP? Just basing off of he was in water (sensory), he does editing (sensory, thinking). I just threw the P in there, based on my scientific reasoning. 😆🙌

13:11 Spreadsheet chic was the only one that I felt made any sense... at all... about anything. I wasn't even wondering or thinking about her personality type. I was just like, "See, THIS is why lazy people always run to us when they need help. They'd fall asleep & not even care how this can open new doors for them, let alone how dedicated we are when we seek the truth." I vote for Spreadsheet Chic! Uh, not a contest, yeah, I forgot. But Frank YOU won like... how many???

I don't have a favorite genre of music. I like songs that have a deep meaning. I like when they dig into the human soul or when they express beautiful values. I am optimistic. I think every person is intrinsically good. I trust people even if I don't know them. I hate confrontation, but when someone tramples on my ideals I always try to impose myself, to counter and change their mind. I like to live in my own thoughts. I like to make up stories.

Kevin is an ESTP in my opinion because he puts it all out there (and I don’t mean in the shower). He just doesn’t seem to care, really, about what he’s about. Although he is curious, he’s just got to much going on to care. I’m sorry but I’m not an expert or anything. Kevin seems like he could go from zero to a hundred at any given moment. And Kevin seems to be quite comfortable in his skin. My youngest son is an ESTP and I can always spot it in your parody’s. Does Kevin really not know his “type”?? Sorry, I didn’t mean to ramble on but I love a challenge of this nature. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise about personalities!
