@@jellyfishi_ I can consider other possibilities. It's not how it looks to people who are not infj. It's long experience in both fighting and trusting your gut. See, we are pleasers by instinct so this ability to problem solve into the future for other people, against the flow of traffic, in a sense, is something we fight. we learn to trust ourselves because it's against what we want to be doing but the J compulses that we set it straight at least internally. For example, when you see that the theory you knew was important in your field 10 years before many people knew what it was more than once, you learn to trust yourself professionally. When you realize it happens in most the patterns, you gain more self trust. It's not snobbery if I have a different skill than you. You have a different skill than me. 🙍. Life would be easier if it would stop. People don't easily believe you. It's simpler to sit on your hands than to share sometimes. Want to know what I think is up and coming best practices in autism? Or what should be being researched for patients with hydrocephalus? Or the conundrum of people who are asthmatic and allergic to animals but need to shop in the same space with service animals? My husband stood there staring at her, then turned around while she was mid-sentence and walked away. Apparently one of his friends (who worked there) saw the whole thing and said it was hilarious to watch happen. His boss, who GREATLY valued his workmanship, told him he'd have to write him up, and my husband said, "That's okay... ENFP: I used to do this when I was younger and before I found out about MBTI. Real-life examples: 20+ years old and my boss was ENTJ. Worked for 2 years, basically ran her company and simply endured daily screaming from her every day. Never told her how I felt. One day, I ended up in tears by the time I got to work, decided I had enough, so I called her, told her the job was too stressful, left the keys with accounting, packed up my things and left without another job to go to. It worked out ok because I found another job on the way home, but I hate that I didn't tell her why and provide some kind of closure. Now, I am in my 50's and I tried to make peace with an ISTJ supervisor. I had discussed with her on earlier occasions that people are different and we aren't all machines. When it became clear that she wasn't going to make an attempt on her own to understand, I went in her office and told her: "I respect you, I think you are one of the hardest working people around here, and I think that you are one of the smartest people I have ever met, but being a manager means helping your employees grow and develop. You have like zero people skills and have no desire to even try to understand your employees point of view! Until you learn that, you will never have people to back you up when you need it!" This is something I would never have tried to say in the past. She actually improved and tried harder afterwards and our work relationship improved. Thinkers like it when you show you have a backbone and just tell them straight out what you think. Also, if you never tell them what is wrong, how will they ever learn?

T o t a l l y t r u e INFP here: we just explode after a long time of letting things "slip under the carpet" and right after we cry. I'll let a rant/example down below: Just like 4 days ago I lost it because a friend (who I've been telling *multiple times* in the most polite way possible that he was making me feel bad, that he had to respect me and be more empathic to people) made fun of my grief because my pets died and literally said: "Stop. One more, one less, whatever" like if I annoyed him. My pets died in a span of 2 weeks and it hurt so much because I loved them and everytime I told my group of friends what happened, this friend would be like "yeah ok lol" and a joke about my pet's death or make fun of me. I haven't talked to him since and I'm not planning to do so. He told my friends that I was being a baby, immature, etc just because I know my feelings matter and I don't deserve to be treated like someone you can do shit whenever you want because they won't do anything to you. He once even said that I should not speak my mind because I should not have human rights. His comments hit me real hard because I also have *LOW* self-esteem... My others friends, who talked to him, know he'd been acting pretty shitty lately but they let it pass because that's how he is and asked me to go talk to him because he said he was not going to "plead to me" but was willing to hear *my* apology. Needless to say, I won't apologize for having feelings and him being an asshole. Yesterday my friends told me he got worse and disrespected them as well and his father. They talked to him about his behavior and now he says they're all babies like me, for not handling his bullshit. I'm not going to crawl for a friendship; any relationship must be based on respect and if someone doesn't respect you, your feelings and your boundaries then they don't love you. To my fellow INFPs and anyone who read this: You are worthy of respect and a healthy relationship, don't settle for less just because you feel lonely or to fit in, your mental health is way more important than sharing an evening with someone who doesn't deserves you. Stay safe.

ENFP: Just 'cause you're logical doesn't mean you're right. If logical was so superior, then why are so many thinkers in prison. I bet there are just as many thinkers than feelers. Also, sometimes logic makes it longer for you to understand what feelers instinctively know. Example: Fun = Logical and Fun = Good. Most feelers know fun = good instinctively, but we have to explain it to you logic thinkers. Here's the equation and you're welcome: Fun = Play, Play = Experiences, Experiences = Learning, Learning = Intelligence, Intelligence = Logical. Simplification Fun = Logical.
@farrex04 жыл бұрын
@@prntrfxr More thinkers than feelers in prison, wow I did not knew they made statistics of MBTI types in prison, LMAO. Let me remind you that Hitler was an INFJ, and that feeling doesn't presume morality, let me remind you that feelers act on feeling, and not all feeling is positive, therefore feelers are capable of causing great suffering when they suffer inside. Reality is more complex than that, functions do not presume morality, but rather the person is responsible for their own morality. Besides no one made an argument against morality, who are you to judge all thinkers? Do not realize that by creating a divide and presuming thinkers as criminals and immoral you have shown more immorality than anyone in this conversation? Swap thinkers vs feelers with race, and reread your comment and tell me how that goes?

@Ria.Orion How could someone make an assertion t hat an specific group of people could be more likely to be in prison without even having statistics? And even if there was, as an ENTP myself, I would never dare to suggest immorality from a group of people, specially without the necessary information. And even if it were, I would never dare to throw a complete group of people in the same basket, instead of looking at the individual. It baffles me how someone can make those assertions and then suggest that that person is more moral, when the whole premise is based on immorality.

Ah cloverleaf, another opportunity to test the concurrent validity of the test to insure that I'm an INTJ. You spoil me FJ.
