I am hoping they find a way to have these 2 get back together, but earn it. The chemistry is so strong and they have been at it for almost 40 years. It is hard because I felt like after Frasier, part of his growth during the show was moving on from Lilith and into a better and wiser person. This show starts off by making him take a few steps back, but he is a lot different, as well. It seems rare to me that people can ever really rekindle that sort of relationship, but at the same time there is so much there, they seem destined to get back together. I feel like she is the only person who could ever really rope him, and him her. They have so many different levels to their relationship. Who knows maybe that could be the final act, in rekindling his relationship with his son by changing for him, he stumbles into how he truly feels about Lilith. I don't know, but there could be some poetry there.

Let sleeping dogs lie.... I hate this series now. Needs Niles and Daphne but too many real life egos and conflicts made that impossible. So it's a show about "parenting" when your kid is a grown adult......but I guess for millions of people this show hits home because millions of older parents have their grown adult children living with them now (forever) as these grown adult children are all playing some kind of victim card and are either too lazy or too stupid to make their own lives.... Getting old sucks. There is no comedy in it. It's the daily pills, the daily aches and pains...the daily realization that you are becoming more and more irrelevant, more and more weaker and for too many more and more afraid of the inevitable. And here in America unlike so many other nations, the majority of old people get put away into "rest" homes and forgotten by their own families. Left to die lonely deaths in facilities that reek of piss, sh*t and despair.
