Exactly see Frasier exist as a Federation Starship Captain named Morgan Bateson it's canon ,he arrived in the 24th century from 86 years prior in an old Soyuze class starship called the Boseman , , it was a natural occuring time rift that permanently closed behind him , , , his crew was most likely transferred to a modern Nebula Class StarShip or even possibly to a Galaxy Class , , , , no doubt Captain Bateson is likely Admiral Bateson this many years later , as of this 2024 comment 😸🖖🖖

Haha seeing several other people here know these references that I do makes me happy, I love both shows a lot! Oh, also garaks actor (Andrew Robinson) was on wings, which Frasier and Lillith had been on, but that’s taking it too far, I know haha, it doesn’t really count. I feel like there is one more we all missed though that does count. Also I must say, I admittedly never have watched wings except for the one with Frasier. Frasier and cheers were such great shows, and I loved voyager too, anyway I’m beginning to repeat myself now lol

Great sketch! I love the attention to detail that most probably wouldn’t notice - there’s purpose to the color of their uniforms (Niles, being a physiatrist, is blue for medical - Marty, the ex-cop, wears security gold - Ros, being the producer for the radio show, wears command red for communications - Daphnie wears operations gold, I suppose in reference to the maintenance she did around the apartment, though it might have been more accurate to give her medical blue for being a physical therapist).

If I remember correctly. I read in a magazine a while back, that this was originally supposed to be just a short Fraser sketch on a variety special of some kind from the 90’s. But Kelsey Grammar was in hospital and someone came up with a last minute crazy idea of mixing a SIFI drama with a sitcom. It was unique and funny.

It may be that Kelsey Grammer was intended to be in it, but couldn't do it for health reasons, so Mulgrew was a last-minute addition. This sketch was done live in early October for the Star Trek 30th Anniversary special. In late September, Grammer was in a single-car accident and returned a crazy-high blood alcohol reading, so checked himself into rehab at the Betty Ford Center, as such he may have been indisposed at the time.
