Crack out the Gortex guys Paderborn and Gutterslo...throwing wind, snow n snow London way . Some special sideways rain. Horse says I want to dance in the rain like no one is watching . I'm dancing in the rain😂😂 Boss said get back in under the arch not playing sea horses on parade today . Jeez that tac n grooming going to be a pain in the rear hind quarter later. T he horse is slipping on the wet pavement, esp when asked to go backwards. So let's keep trying to force him to walk backwards. Why didn't any of these handlers think to take him in through the gate and bring him forward into the guardhouse? Where he could see clearly where he was going?

It’s a combination of both, horses (and cattle) will naturally face away from forceful rain because they are unable to shield their eyes, which are particularly exposed. It’s head must have been out of the stall when the rain came and it’s automatic response was to turn its back on it 😊.

​@@hazel1605 Not only soldiers but the same regiment as the guards on the horses, the only difference is that the guards on horseback are in their ceremonial uniforms, whilst the others are in their ordinary uniforms. AGAIN, not the mounted guard but they ALWAYS insist in putting them back in the box. So when they continue to pull the horse, it gets more aggressive and can stand on its hind legs making the guard fall.

You need some proper commercial grade rain gear if you’re going to be in the elements. It makes life a lot easier. Look at brands like: Guy Cotten , Grundens, and Helly Hansen .
