I am on the opposite side..I was hoping on him to do sponsorships..He could do sponsorships from products that he reviewed and loved..With those special items, he would also be able to offer his viewers discounts on the sponsorships that he loves and trusts..Plus, with all the extra money from the sponsorships (hundreds to thousands per video) he could put the money into the videos or use it so he could go back to making less videos to make his life easier as he deserves it..

The unevenness is probably caused by how you are holding up the slicer instead of resting it vertically on a surface - as you push, the pressure is moving the grater hand away causing it to slice unevenly.

I have this exact slicer and I found the best way is to actually draw the tool across the food(especially cabbage) or with the slicer on top of a bowl and drawing the food across the tool perpendicularly. I didn't have great success with cheese. Thank you for the videos!!!

There are already multiple KZbinrs I quit following when they start to peddle sponsors. Many of them are interesting and just when a new one gets to a point their videos are becoming more "professional, then they cut down the videos to 5 min soundbites, but half of it is advertisement! That is when I quit watching. Greed has no limit!

That's the problem with sponsorships, since they're PAYING for the video, how can you trust that what the content creator is SAYING about them is unbiased? Dissing the product is a good way to loose your funding, so they want to talk it up, even if it's mediocre. HOPEFULLY they aren't enough of a sell out to tout a truly BAD product.....but can you be SURE?

I know you never wanted to do sponsors, but if it ever comes the day that the videos arent generating enough revenue to make it worth making videos, rather than quitting, I am sure most of us would understand and be fine with you doing sponsors. We get it. 😁 I just wanted to say that because Ive seen a lot of youtubers complaining about their money lately and giving up on their channels. I've got one of these, though I got no glove or brush. I found that holding down on the plate with the "bumper" worked best because it prevents the slicer from moving while you're trying to slice.

James, I have been a long time fan, but it really needs to be pointed out that you didn't use this product to its intended use. it looks like it has a rubber thing at the end of it, the purpose of which, seems like it's supposed to rest on a surface while you use it. Granting arguendo that it does not look like it has the best blades. I still think it should be given a fair chance. Cheers James.

My nerves were on edge with this one. I am a victim of mandolin slicer chaos. If they offer a glove, send it back. When you cut the cheese without the glove, I kept thinking, "Well, there goes a finger!" Great review ... you need to be seen my Hollyweird to be the next Billy Mays.

I bought one of these. Found that moving the slicer instead of the veggies worked better for some reason. Also,. sliced the knuckle of my index finger clean off while learning to use it
