Seriously, i said this with the 5 min tease but this really is a far better comedic quality than most of Season 3 especially the episode that this remakes. I'm not sure why season 3 was so much worse than the first two (and don't get me started ont he movie), but this is the kind of writing that would have saved it and possibly got us more seasons.

I have been a fan of Drawn Together since I was a kid and this brought so much joy and passion! You nailed the characters and writing down, it felt like I was watching a real episode. Love more inclusion of Ling Ling too. I'm impressed you did all this yourself. Deadass if you plan to do anything like this next time, I can provide animatics.

If they really wanna "draw" comparisons to South Park, they should've made the Drawn Together Movie like SP's 200th episode that was coming out the exact same time. Instead of Celebrities, it'd be every DT villain from up to that point trying to erase each housemate, with NetWork Head and ISRAEL being the masterminds. I also had this dream were a Mecha Cyndi Lauper was singing "Time After Time" to torture the DT crew. In Hindsight the only issue with 200 is that most of the funny celebrities had little to no lines, which to be fair would make the episode feel cluttered, but the DT villains would get equal screen time. It could've been an even better version of Jimmy Neutron's League of Villains.

this was definitely a better episode I got to give you some crap but you really couldn't catch the characters and shows personalities too well. The writing in general just didn't feel like drawn together but it was still good and that might have been a problem. The parts with lingling especially stood out because the whole joke was that he would disagree or be against whatever they're doing but they would read it as him being agreeable because they can't understand him.

I’m glad you liked it…ish. The reason the characters feel different is because we kept them consistent. No more breaking for the sake of the joke. You’re entitled to your opinion, but I’m going to side with the others who say it’s just like the show. Also, I don’t think I’ve seen that joke with Ling-Ling once in the actual series.

That's just one I remember off the top of my head I haven't watched the show in years so I'm do a refresh.
