the first time I heard this song and read the lyrics it made me cry. These lyrics perfectly match up to what me and my boyfriend have been through for the past 5 years we have been together. I was an active heroin user for 15 years and have now been clean for 3 months for the first time in 15 years and it made me clearly see how I drained our relationship with my constant lying and hiding out and getting high while it broke his heart. Every day has been a struggle and I am working on rebuilding trust with him and trying to remind myself that i'm not a piece of shit because of my addiction and all I can do is do my best to repair and move forward.

It’s crazy how he takes peoples stories, words turns these recordings into music. The first time I heard his music I cried and I think that’s what a lot of other people felt. So much emotions in his music, the fact he samples real life and the world around him as an artist I try to do that as I capture photos, videos and real life moments around me. So to see him do this and be able to share this is incredible. You feel so much and it just hits you, as an artist this is the biggest goal to make people feel something from their work. Fred accomplishes that and continues to do that.. Truly an inspiration to all creators worldwide.
