i understand fred. he could never tell em what it would take for him to have ownership, brandon marshall was trying to make him just a high paid employee. which was his right. and it was fred right to leave if he didn’t like the terms

Everyone in these comments definitely didn’t watch the video. According to Fred in the video, Brandon NEVER offered ownership to Fred and them. He offered revenue sharing. Those are two separate things.

Yall are misinterpreting what he saying. He said he had no problem putting money down if B marsh was willing to show the numbers. If we ran a podcast together and I said this takes 50k to run, you're stupid if you'd just give me the 50k dollars without doing any due diligence.

Which podcast is doing better today and then tell me if he knows about business. They been on all the interview shows and I haven’t seen Brandon’s podcast in a minute. Last episodes that saw had Pac-Man missing.

Fred, Channing and Ocho hanged out with Brandon like it was a barbershop 😅 they eat, laugh and have fun, at Brandon's expense. They had nothing to do during the pandemic, so they agreed to join Brandon's show. I watched and downloaded every episode They never thought about putting in money, while Brandon paid the bills. THAT IS NOT BUSINESS 😊

Bottom line if your trying to make business decisions keep it business PERIOD! You can be friends/boys after the business plans are open and transparent in a setting with EVERYONE having a lawyer and contracts discussed openly and signed. If you can’t come to a consensus Keep it Moving.

He keeps saying rev share. The ownership. Then I needed to see the numbers, before I committed any money. Seems like, stuff started off janky, then got official when the numbers started running amuck. By that time B. Marsh wasn’t taking offers on something “he” funded. If it wasn’t about the dollars, then this wouldn’t be an issue.

One thing people are not getting is it was just a podcast. It doesn’t matter if they didn’t put in they all built the business bigger so they all get a cut Brandon Marshall did not make that show. I believe there was more people that made that show they all built that show up not just Brandon Marshall, they all deserve a cut

That’s not the issue and it’s not even true. Brandon started it and added the others as the starting foundation. Brandon put money in for the production, equipment, ads, etc. Fred slipped it in but he didn’t put any money down for the initial investment and he’s saying it’s because he was waiting for the numbers. It’s BS. He now what’s to reap the benefits of something he was apart of and helped but he didn’t put financial stake in and it wasn’t like he was working for free with the understanding of the backend or equity eventually. Brandon was paying him and he could’ve made it known to take a cut so he could get equity as a part of his deal, he didn’t.

The comments section just shows how ignorant people are. PEOPLE WITH MONEY TO LOSE NEVER DO A DEAL FOR ONE OWNERSHIP OF A BUSINESS UNLESS THEY GET A PROPER EVALUATION OF THE STARTUP COST AND BUSINESS EVALUATION/PROJECTIONS. #fredwasright
@josephhandy8767
@josephhandy8767 Жыл бұрын
Huh? You do that at the beginning and THEN you put up what you feel is a suitable amount lol. You try going to a business owner with no money, say I want joint ownership and see how they will laugh in your face lmao. The issue isn’t that Fred wanted an evaluation. The issue is he wanted to get in at yesterday’s evaluation vs today’s evaluation. Yesterdays price not todays price. That’s like saying in 2023, you can buy a house with 2020 prices lmao.

I need to see the whole video to get real context and a sense of what’s going on, I heard Brandon’s side and their on Breakfast club and another podcast. He should have put the 37.5k that he initially said had a lawyer with him contract and all, sounds like he didn’t have his business cap on
@Christian-eq6pq
@Christian-eq6pq Жыл бұрын
Nah sounds like he didn’t want to invest 37.5K into something he didn’t think would net him 3x returns. No one knew how big IAMATHLETE would be except for Brandon, hence why he was so confident spending over a million dollars to get it off the ground his first year and I think near 10 million if you include the facility and other attachment. If it failed, Marsh is in the hole and while he’s rich, he’s a retired athlete with an expensive life. If the show failed, Fred could get out of it and all he loses is that paycheck Brandon was giving him to show up and talk sports.

I see it’s a bunch of people don’t know about business in these comments! Ownership is different than just putting in on ingredients for a pie. The sad part about it B. Marshall didn’t make IAA what it is. All he does is yelling & trying to talk over everybody (that immature ish got old quick). B Marshall was greedy, plain & simple.
